Works very well
I wanted to hook up 4 analog Samsung cameras from an older, defunct system, and show them on a new display. This works exactly as described, and has quite alot of features actually. I'm very pleased with the final result

MADE SURE TO PUT THE POWER SUPPLY IN ONE BOX, MINE WAS MISSING THE POWER SUPPLY DON'T KNOW IF THE HOLE IN THE BOX WAS CUT OPEN, BUT ITS LOOK THAT WAY. OTHER THAN THAT THE UNIT DID IT JOB SO FAR. THE SHIPPING IS ANOTHER STORY. THE UNIT IS BIGGER THAN THE MORE EXPENSE ONE. I HAD THE MORE EXPENSE FOR A WEEK AND ITS STARTED TO ACT UP. SO FAR THIS UNIT IS DOING GOOD....

Product never worked it doesn’t even turn on and Amazon doesn’t want to do a refund or return because it’s passed 30 days

Beeps noisily, no power switch, LEDs too bright
1) beeps loudly when powered up and when video loss is detected -- doesn't appear to allow it to be disabled via menu option. This won't work in a quiet room. 2) no power switch -- I have to unplug the unit or add a power strip or switch the line voltage. 3) led indicators are too bright for darkened rooms. There's no way to turn them off. 4) the unit I received had "RMA" handwritten on the box, and the remote was smashed. The remote works as long as I manually hold the battery compartment closed. If the remote wasn't damaged, I'd probably open it up and disconnect the beeper, and tape over the LEDs. Update: The RMA'd unit was quickly replaced with a new unit by Amazon. Perusing the somewhat clumsy menus revealed the ability to turn off the noisy beeping, and to change the display resolution to 1080, so my TV would have fewer conniptions. Four layers of blue tape over two of the LEDs makes them more tolerable. I will be using a power strip so I can turn it off and on.
