Maka Maka Volume 2 Paperback – January 6, 2009

Maka Maka Volume 2 is an amazing find. The art is gorgeous and the characters look very realistic. Their proportions are normal and are within the range of average for women. The story is also compelling, engaging and erotic. It's hard to find a good Yuri manga that has both excellent art and story. This is definitely one of the gems of the genre. Whether you are getting it for it's eroticism, the story or for the art, it is worth the money to add it to your collection.

A definite buy for anyone that liked Maka-Maka 1. Just as sweet as the first but a little depressing towards the end. The sex is a bit heavier too.

(somewhat) Recommended readalike:  Between the Sheets (v. 3) Exceptional yuri art. Fantastic characterization. Wonderful slice of life piece. No logical or reasonable plot or story. Basically the artist is only interested in drawing the emotionally intense moments in a woman's life... and female-only sex scenes. Far more of the latter than the former. I would have said a lesbian's life... but that would be utterly misleading because both Jun and Nene are bi, if sexuality actually is determined by who one has sex with.
