Affordable sight option with great features
This is my go-to dot sight for my AR15. It’s sturdy and accurate, firing the gun does not loosen or knock the sight off zero. The QD makes it easy to mount or remove- handy in case I feel like going full iron sights-but the sight picture is big enough that I can use them with the power off just fine. Being able to choose between red and green dots is a nice feature, although mine are usually just set to green. Having the ability to choose different reticles is fun, and being able to adjust the brightness of the dot makes this sight a great all-around option for quick target acquisition. You could spend a lot more on an Eotech that does the same thing, but why?

Great sight
The Ultra Shot R-Spec has exceeded my expectations. The reticle is crisp and easy to see in all lighting conditions, and the multiple brightness settings are a nice touch. It’s built like a tank—feels solid and rugged on my rifle. Zeroing was quick and it holds zero perfectly after multiple range trips. The quick-detach mount is convenient and secure. Overall, a reliable and affordable reflex sight for range or tactical use!

This is a solid sight!
I bought this along with another sight for comparison and I decided to go with the Sightmark R-Spec. I put this on my Stribog 9mm and it just seem to really belong there :-)I list the pros and cons below:Pros:- All controls are easy to operate (reticle selector clicks into place for each setting)- Elevation and windage adjustment are easy to operate- Easy to mount (quick release is my preference)- Housing is extremely well built and provides excellent protection for the lensCons:- Maybe a bit expensive for most people (at least in my opinion) so look for good deal- Maybe a bit big for some platforms. (In my case, this maybe a bit oversize for the Stribog but I think it made a really strong statement. So I actually love it! Others may want to consider the size carefully.)- The unit (because of the large size) obstructs the iron sight completely so no absolute co-witness possible unless you attach a different iron sight. You may try 1/3 co-witness.Final thoughts. I believe this is well worth the price even though it exceeds my budget. I'm only using this for my shooting hobby (home defense, range, etc...) so I think this is more than adequate. I did look at cheaper alternative but I think comparing the cost and what I would get, I would choose the Sightmark R-Spec again.Final final thought. There is also the Sightmark Core A-Spec (smaller size) that you could consider if you want something smaller. I actually opted for that at first until I realize I cannot change color (red only) and I cannot select reticle mode (dot only). So if those are not important for you, it maybe a better choice. For me I like the options on the R-Spec.

Great sight for the value
You really can’t get a better sight for the price, threw it on my 9mm carbine(Fx9) and it has been great, the toggle switch is a little finicky with some play when switching between reticles, but if you take the extra 3 seconds to line up the reticle it won’t move from there.

Sightmark is on target with this
At this price, you will have a hard time finding a better optic. The FOV with this is far beyond some bigger brand names. the dot is very easy to see and adjust brightness for. The glass has been great, even after almost 1000 rounds. I have it mounted on a 9mm PCC (Stribog) and it gets me sub 2" groupings all day long. If I could see better it would likely be even tighter groupings. Sightmark has really increased its game with this one.

Sightmark sight
This is not EOTech. That said this sight has red and green plus 4 diferent reticles that could be interchanged without adjustment. This is my 7th or 8th Sightmark. None of mine have lost zero, even on a shotgun. This is very budget friendly in my opinion. Like someone says somewhere else "I am not an operator" but I am kind of clumsy and these things have survive where others have not.The only complaint I have this time around is that the seals were broken and the tools missing. The sight is working, and I have plenty of those tools around.

Not for me.
Product was made well. Function as far as controls we okay. It is heavy. But that's were it stops doesn't matter what power what reticle all had ghosts. It would go away by turning the power down but I more press it off. You would never see it outside. I read reviews seemed worth trying now I know. 30 yrs removed from the teams so ya saving a little money is always a good thing. Maybe I just received a bad on? Just can't take any chances in my line of work. As far as the water proofing, and quality built. But they should have matched the optics and just charged a little more.
