Best tile niche out there.
These are crazy easy to install, and the tile adheres to them just like the cement board. When you are done you are completely water sealed which I like. And the fact that they are not plastic and are the same thickness as the cement board was amazing you don't have to feather mastic like the plastic ones. I have done three bathrooms with them so far and have two more to do. Totally recommend

Installs easily.
I carefully considered where each tile would set before rough in. Align the tile set on the unit and make straight cuts. I built up setting mortar slightly at the back so shelves would drain. I like it a lot. I used my floor tile in it for continuity.

Used mine horizontally, and worked great
I was a little bit concerned that there was no waterproofing on the front of the adjustable center piece (I should have noticed that in the pics(, so I used mine horizontally without the insert. I'm honestly not sure how comfortable I would have been tiling over just the unprotected foam front of that adjustable piece. It didn't seem right. So, one star less because I don't think it would have been hard for them to waterproof the adjustable center piece better.Anyway, they installed easily, and my shower looks great!

Solidly made
12x28 niche w/adjustable shelfBought a pr, well pkgd, arrived in perfect condition. Best niches I've seen from structural standpoint, going to hold up well. Appreciate the nice adjustable shelf. Tons of storage despite only being 12 inches wide. Would like option to purchase an addl shelf at 28 inches high.

Size is perfect. Mounts flush to durock!
Im giving it 5 stars for everything with one exception...some silicone/glue around the corners is missing. While thinset and tile will cover it, I added my own adhesive in that area to seal it prior to installation. If you measure and cut accurately, this pops right in. Flush to my durock. Product leaves enough room in the back for sheet rock without touching it. Worth the money but a little more fragile than the plastic ones. Lastly, plastic niches are solid and may never breach. This one is glued together. Needed this specific size, so I went with it.

Lots of space!
My contractor recommended this for our shower remodel. The shelves are tall and deep enough to hold bigger bottles even after the tile is complete.
