They're delicate but do work.
Be very gentle with these, I have old very used bread boards, the wires can bend easily. The metal is very soft.

Not for soldering just prototyping
These are good jumper wires for a breadboard prototype BUT they aren’t any good for soldered PCBs - solder doesn’t like them due to aluminium core.
