Importantly, they just work!
Had these for about 3 weeks now and couldn't be happier so far. I use my K702s daily and for hours at a time, so it's important that these were comfortable and did do the job as well as the originals. So far, they seem like a great choice. The original pads are somewhat cleanable, and I'm going to try that now I have a new pair, but not sure how many times I can get away with that.Easy enough to fit, I think I found these easier to install than the originals, (which I have already removed in the past to clean once) although still tight enough with the correct, even pressure to twist them on.As you can see from the picture, they are properly tapered to the front for best fit and the velour feels right. No cheep manufacture smells either.Time will tell on the quality of the foam, but happy so far and they have returned my headphones to a place that sits juuuust away from my ears. This has improved the audio quality quite dramatically... to the point where I had to recalibrate my ears to accommodate the (excellent) K702s again. The K702s (owned for about 5 years now) are a very sturdy and great sounding set of studio headphones and well deserving of a new set of pads.

Good quality and perfect fit.
I have ordered several pairs of replacement earpads for my K712 and this is the only one that I am finally keeping. They are well made, of good quality and they fit perfectly. Most of the other pads have sub-par foam, don't fit well or change the sound. This pair on the contrary ticks all the boxes. On top of that they are very comfortable.I have had them for a few days only so I cannot talk about durability.Overall very happy with the purchase.

Better than the originals, for me.
Applied to a set of K702's, they "fit" but are not as easy to click in as the originals, upon inspection you can see that the tabs are the inverse of the originals.Whereas within a second or two I can click the originals in and out of place, these took me a good minute trying to find the sweet spot after which, yes, they fit, but it never feels as secure as OEM.However, comfort, these for me are miles better than the fabric on the stock set, those itched head and never really melded to my head quite right. Everything sounds about the same, no huge bass increase or anything - however these are not memory foam at all, they're just soft foam, which is fine, but don't tell me it's memory unless it can hold it's shape! (1 star down for that)Good for the price and means I'll wear the headphones more often.

Fantastic... Might just be better than the originals.
I took a punt on Geekria after seeing how expensive OEM replacements would be (£17 per pad(!) + postage). I did consider Dekoni brand replacements, as I found a pair that would have been £35 delivered, but there was no clear indication why Dekoni commanded twice the price of Geekria... plus, some of Dekoni's other products clearly have audiophile premiums that are a load of nonsense. So Geekria it was.I bought the pads on the 5th of September. I was so happy with my initial impressions that I decided to use them for a while and then write a review, after I'd had plenty of time to get to know them. It's now the 25th October and I think the biggest compliment I can pay the Geekria pads is that it'd only intended to wait a couple of weeks before I wrote this review but I promptly forgot all about it.The Geekria pads are well designed and made... to the point that they might actually be better that the original pads that came with my K702's. The pads are slightly cambered / angled so that they sit more comfortably on your head. The foam used in the pads is a little bit firm (but that might just be because I'm used to soft, worn out pads) and I doubt it's proper memory foam but all that really matters is that they're so comfy that it wasn't long before I didn't even give a second thought to wearing them. I use my headphones for 6+ hours every single day and even after such extended use, I don't feel any discomfort.I really can't fault them... no strange smells, no shoddy manufacturing, they don't feel cheap or flimsy (even being a penny pincher, I feel like they're worth every penny of the £17 I paid). About the closest I can come to criticism is that they (like most things) were a bit over packaged, notably the plastic spudger that's included in the box, that is not needed for installing your new pads. As useful as spudgers are for peiple such as myself (they're essential for repairing most electronics) I can't help but think that most of them will just end up shoved in that draw in the kitchen or they'll end up in landfill.

So far so good
Slotted on really well to my AKG-702's, took a few seconds each, attached as well as the original pads. The foam on my original ones had basically turned to dust, so these are so much more comfortable. The sound seems a little different, they do make the drivers sit farther away now so that may be it. Also the bass is a touch less, if I push both sides against my head the bass is a bit louder, but again my old pads were so flat for so long its hard to remember what the 702's were like new. The pads look great, will update if anything changes.

Great upgrade for the AKG K702
I love the sound of my AKG K702's, but I've always disliked how the ear cup material got quite hot and uncomfortable when used for long editing sessions. Spotted these on Amazon and they seem like a great alternative to the 'velour' of the originals. The original ear cups easily twist off and these new ones just twist back on in their place. Very simple. These cups are soft but firm and no adverse impact on the sound. Some reviews mention a bad smell, I can't smell anything 'bad', just as I'd expect 'lambskin' to smell, a very slight, leathery smell. As for build quality, they seem fine - well stitched, symmetrical etc. As for longevity, I've had them for 1 day so cannot comment, but in terms of comfort these are definitely worth the outlay.
