Don't buy this set
I bought this for my little girl, and was very disappointed. All of the orange pieces were warped to the point that they were unusable. The angles are not conducive to keep the marble going. Regular marbles don't fit through the openings. The pieces themselves don't always connect, being different lengths etc. The set was horrible. We tried and tried to get it to work correctly thinking that maybe we were missing something and that perhaps it worked differently than the set I had as a kid, but, really, there isn't much room for misunderstanding with this toy. It just flat out doesn't work. A waste of money.

Good quality set for this price point.
I have a decent collection of STEM toys for my children and students and this was the perfect addition. I try to balance between high end Lakeshore and Learning Resources and low end brands, depending on the type of toy and I recommend this marble run if you’re thinking of getting one. The dimension of each piece is smaller than the lakeshore sets I’ve seen in schools, it is a mini version but doesn’t feel too small for my kindergartener in the photo. The “marbles” are plastic. Depending on how he builds the ramps, sometimes the marble skips. It should be noted that about 30 of the pieces are marbles, but the set is big enough for my kids to play together, with a normal amount of bickering. Overall, a great buy at this price point.

kids are playing
We have already another Marble Run toy. But I have two children (3 and 6 years-old) and I decided to buy a second Marble Run toy which is different from the first our toy. Our impressions of this second toy are perfect. This toy consists of 105 color pieces and helps in intellectual development. The quality of this toy is very good. This toy has an instruction for Building Blocks construction. The pieces are easy to put together so my kids can do it with no problem, especially my elder child. He makes mistakes when he constructs this building but he finds his mistakes and corrects them. After construction children begin to throw balls and to see which ball get down first. Now my both children construct Buildings and play with pleasure because each child has Marble Run toy

Cheap for a Reason
Not enough variety in the pieces to make it interesting. The plastic is somewhat cheap and flimsy and you can't stack them very high as they don't fit together snugly enough to line up perfectly, causing the stack to lean and collapse easily. This also means the marbles don't always continue through the path but get stuck due to the pieces being off-kilter and poorly designed (kinda defeats the purpose of a 'marble run' when the marbles won't run). It also doesn't fit standard size marbles (too small) so you have to use the cheap plastic ones included in the box.I was looking for a much better quality experience. I'd pay a little more and get a better quality set.

Ok for what it is, not the best.
I purchased this product on the off-chance that it would connect to the marble run set that we purchased for our 5 year old for Christmas. I ordered this set and another at the same time, as I wasn't sure if either would work, and i didn't want the kid to be disappointed. This set is ok for what it is. It is a bee bee (that is what they call the marbles) run set, not a marble run set. This set does not use normal sized glass marbles, instead it uses hard plastic balls. The set pieces are smaller that the other sets i have purchased to accommodate the smaller bee bees. So these do not work with other sets (that i know off). Also the plastic seems more brittle and not as flexible. I felt at some points when i was putting it together that I might break pieces of it off.Overall, the kid did like it. It has some really neat pieces, and it is the same amount of fun, but it isn't the same quality as other sets that i have purchased. But for $21.00 US, it keeps the kid happy.

Not impressed and a little let down
The picture makes it look better than it actually is.First off, the directions are TERRIBLE, so good luck with with assembly, because we just got so aggravated with that process. You can put it together however you want, but we wanted to assemble as the box and instructions showed, for the first time playing with it.Once it was together, it was extremely flimsy. The flip loop too kept popping off, or the marble would randomly just hop off the entire thing at different points. The plastic pink pieces are junk, and some wouldn’t even fit together properly, which made the sections even more wobbly. If you’re looking for cheap enjoyment than I guess this is okay, but my daughter kept getting annoyed with the parts breaking, that she lost interest in even playing with it.

Comes with mini marbles, but doesn't fit regular size ones
It was easier to look at the box to put this contraption together. Even then, I was exhausted trying to keep my 3 year old from playing with it while I was putting it together. I just started attaching pieces together, so the project could be finished. Honestly I think it took me longer to put this marble maze together then my son will play with it. The pieces don't fit exactly together, so some are tight and some are loose. This maze doesn't fit regular size marbles, but it comes with mini ones. Good price.

My boys have alot of fun doing this
For my 2.5 and 5yr old boy. They wanted one like they play with at their Grandpa's house. My only recommendation is to wait until your child is well out of the "putting small items in their mouth" phase. It can be a choking hazard. Other than that its a super fun toy for many years! There are directions on how to build it piece by piece to resemble the image on the box too!
