I wanted something I could use when out and about or for when I’m at my desk. It’s really easy to use and well designed. I’ve only had a quick play just to see if it was what I wanted, it’s better than expected. Well worth the money. Love all the extra functions that are available when connected to the app, tutorials and editing. My favourite feature is the tracking. It’s fairly compact when folded and fits nicely in my handbag. The video quality for me was great but I think that would depend on your own phone. I was a little nervous at first when having to pull the arm out to open it and set it up, I was terrified I’d break it, but now I’ve done it a few times it’s easier and not as terrifying. 100% recommend for anyone who likes to record and or vlog.

This is the non-pro version of the DJI Osmo Gimbal 7 family. There is the 7P which is more of a ‘professional’ model that has extra features, so make sure you are looking at the correct model as they do look the same - apart from the colour.It lacks an extending tripod shaft, but does have tripod legs.Auto turn on function and buttons are well laid out.MagSafe attachment to the phone really helps make it easy to set up for shooting, but the attachment to the phone does cover the iPhone Power Button on the iPhone 15 Pro, which is a bit of a pain.Joystick control is very easy on this gimbal.Gesture controls allow you to start and stop tracking along with many other functions.Apple Watch connection is available to control this gimbal and see the footage being captured.Subject tracking is great - it can follow a subject, even when there are other people in shot.The DJI Tracking app works well, but would be better with the additional module that you can buy, or comes with the more expensive Pro version.The multifunctional Module is not included with this model, which is a shame, but it is available separately .The multifunctional module is useful for when you are trying to track two or more person tracking, or if you want to use a bluetooth wireless microphone.The 7P is £50 more, so it’s your choice as to whether to get the more expensive version that comes with the multifunction module, and extendable tripod built in. DJI do sell the tracking kit for £40 (I could not see it on Amazon at the time of review).There are a lot of comparison videos on YouTube regarding gimbals, so make sure you have a look at them as well.

The product quality is excellent, with a sleek and simple design. It feels very comfortable to hold and is highly portable. The stabilization is impressive, and the foldable design makes it compact and easy to carry. The gimbal's rotation is also very smooth. It's perfect for capturing moments in daily life.

I must say, it’s absolutely worth the price! The product is very easy to operate, with quick start-up and shut-down processes. The display screen allows you to check the battery level in real-time, which is super convenient.The videos it captures look really professional, and I’m very pleased with the quality. Overall, I’m really happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to up their videography game!

I returned this. The tracking was rubbish, the handle was too short for selfies, the app was not approved on Play Store, so you have to download it from their website. None of the tutorials talk about this version, they're all talking about the 'pro' version, which I also tried, and am not impressed with. I don't know if there are better gimbals on the market for the price, but I know I wouldn't buy another one of these.
