Reticle shifted - returned
The glass in the scope is pretty clear and the finish is nice. First impression out of the box was impressive. Unfortunately while sighting it in and firing 12 rounds attached to a 10-22 the reticle began to rotate. I mounted it with the recommended weaver rings which I had no complaints with. I also noticed if I looked closely the small line in the reticle was no longer aligned. Returned without issue. With all the positive reviews maybe I just purchased a defective one but will be moving on to a higher price point.

Get what you paid for...not bad, just Keep expectations realistic
Decent quality for the price. I cannot complain because comparing a <$50 scope to my other $200-$500 scopes is not a fair comparison. Inside 100 yards with good light, this scope delivers one shot kills every time. Not good in low light though but again, considering the price, I have no complaints. Also, don't use the mounts that come with it. Buy something a little bit stronger.

Looks cheap works great u decide what’s more important
This scope is great great for the price however it’s not the best quality the turrets are a kinda cheap design but they work. Don’t get me wrong I am pleased with my $40 purchase and it seems to work great it was a super fast sight in and I think it will work great for my 10-22 but if you are going for Ascetics this is probably not what you are looking for

Awesome for .22 LR
I mounted this scope on a little Ruger .22 LR Takedown with a Magpul stock. Although the scope is a little long, it works well for my purpose. The scope came with a mounting rail and rings. I purchased additional rings and used the rail that came with my Ruger. The scope stays in place and was easy to sight. I am also able to fit the mounted scope in my bag.

Buy literally anything else.
Fake knob on eyepiece doesn’t move. You turn the last 1/8” of it and it goes in and out like a telescope.

Rings don't fit 3/8 or 11mm dovetail
Decent scope for a .22. but I expected the rings to fit my Mossberg model 69 after reading everything it did not and had to wait even longer to get the new rings in.

Take Down Ruger 10/22... measure twice!!!
This is the 3rd Simmons scope I've purchased, for a small caliber rifle, and overall i'm happy with these scopes... for the price you can't go wrong. If you're mounting this scope on a take down 10/22, don't forget to add eye relief to the length of the scope to make sure it will fit in the travel bag all the way. The scope WILL stick out pass the receiver adding to the overall length of the rear section of the rifle. With the Simmons .22 Mag 3-9x32 scope and i was barely able to zip the bag close and with the Simmons 8-Point 3-9x40 scope the butt stock sticks out of the bag just a little bit.The mounts that come with this scope are absolute garbage and I wouldn't waste my time with them. I would recommend the Weaver see through steel mounts for the take down 10/22.The 2 Simmons scopes I purchased prior are the 8-Point 3-9x40 models and I'd have to say that they are a much better scope than the .22 Mag models. I even got the 8-points for $18 cheaper at Dick's Sporting Goods. However, I can't find them in silver to match the stainless steel receiver so I tried the .22 Mag model. I have to say they come close to matching the finish but they're not an exact match.Overall, I only like the scope because of the silver finish and the price. If it wasn't for these 2 factors I wouldn't buy this scope again.

Both ring sets suck period, and the silver scope had smaller phillips ...
Bought the black and silver 3-9x32's. Both ring sets suck period, and the silver scope had smaller phillips screws for retaining scope wtf. The black scope machine screws with allen socket head are good, phillips are pretty pathetic. Changed rings on silver right away from a UTG scope, they are much much better option. Scope itself is great. Once sighted in at 25yds we were plinking very well out to 75yds. Wife was actually hitting 90% of 25-30yd 2" targets, all standing shots! pretty good for beginner. We had 4x32's on both marlin 795 and papoose, with these scopes confident plinking out to 75yds first hour.

Great buy for the money
For the money, you can't beat a Simmons scope. Tough, reliable, and very affordable; deceivingly so. Fitted one with a silver finish on my Ruger 10/22 and it's performed excellent so far. Awesome glass with a fantastic picture. Definitely recommend for anyone on a budget

Its cheap but it works well and has a great view. This is the fourth Simmons scope I have purchased and I am happy with all of them.
