Bodyprox Calf Support Brace 1 Pack, Adjustable Shin Splint Compression Sleeve

I was looking for something that could help with my calf cramps on days I play in tournaments (loads of running) and came across this. Was super helpful as on the last couple of games I have to play for the day, I usually have to sit them out because of the calf cramps. When I started wearing these calf compression straps, I stopped having that problem and can play the whole day with ease. Just as I feel like my calves are about to cramp (when they contract), when the muscles start to relax, the straps keep the muscles tight so I don't feel the pain. They don't look bulky and are comfortable to wear that I forget I still have them on.

Having recently taken up the Couch 2 5k challenge, I unfortunately picked up an injury to my calf muscle in the last week of training. Having used a compression sock to help my recovery I found that this restricted my circulation and became painful. The Bodypox calf support brace is a lot more comfortable to wear and is a good size and can be adjusted to suit and has proved a great help in my recovery. The neoprene material also keeps the muscle warm which helps speed up recovery.

As I’ve got older the skin on my shins have got very thin so if I knock them they bleed also it protects them from my puppy cavalier I’ve tried other shin guards this one is very comfortable and does not Turn around it’s easy to fit and remove, my leg doesn’t overheat it’s well padded I would recommend

I bought these as to be honest they were a lot cheaper than my current supports I use for shin splints. However on first use i realised that due to the design of the support with stitching running down the centre it has to sit immediately on your calf. This although was very comfortable did not work for me as my use was for shin splints and on that basis needed then to sit lower down. So on that basis I have had to return to the more expensive supports which do the job I need. If purely for calf support I'm sure this would work fine.

I'm a 51 yr old who played competitive sport (Rugby/Hockey/Athletics) in his youth but in later years maintained fitness through running and long walks A month into lockdown I tore my left calf muscle and whilst recovering I got a pain in my right calf and found what I thought was a muscle knot... it wasn't it ended up being a benign tumor... Why am I telling you my medical history... well both were preventing me from doing any running and post any walk I would feel pain and significant muscle tightening that was making me hobble at times.... After 1 week of using these I have done 4 10km walks, an 8km run, and this morning a 15km run and not a single issue!!! no pain, no muscle tightening post walks or run.....! I have to say I didn't realise how down I was not being able to run and how much my mood has changed for the positive now I'm 'back'!!! Where I have no other similar product to compare these with, these have given me a new lease of life... :)

Fits well and stays in place during workouts. Provides great compression for shin splints and calf pain relief. Good quality for the price.

I bought it for my mother. It wasn't comfortable as the fabric does not breathe. Had to return the product and had to send it by post to their office and that too after requesting by email. They later refunded the amount

I had a partial tear in my patella , and a tear of a muscle in my calf , from a dangerous and high stakes game of kickball , with my ten year old daughter. I ordered this calf brace because I had a lot of pain, swelling and bruising and was looking for something to help. It really did reduce swelling and kept the pain at a minimum. It was a great and cost-effective addition to the routine of icing and elevating. Being able to adjust the size and tightness was a big plus. I got exactly what I wanted with this order but it really is an adjustable compression garment not a brace. I have an immobilizer brace that i wear this garment under.
