Great Battery for Amateur Radio Use
Nice compact battery and of the correct size for Parks On The Air use.

Great for ham radio portable use
I have three of this particular 20 amp hour battery connected in parallel to give me a 60 amp hour capability used to run my ham radio AND amplifier when I'm in the field or mobile. All three fit into a Powerwerx box. I'll never go back to lead acid batteries again. UPDATE: I've had 6 of these batteries now, 3 each in a Powerwerx box. As of January 2022 both Powerwerx boxes are connected in parallel and sit in the back area of my vehicle and run my ham radio and amplifier. Even in winter time temperatures overnight close to zero Fahrenheit, the radio and amplifier run fine in the morning while the car is heating up. I only have to charge the batteries once every two weeks and I bring them indoors and let the batteries warm for a few hours before hooking up the charger cords.

It’s small and so fully packed.
This battery seems like a very good buy. In tests, it performed up to and slightly beyond specs. I would recommend it and other Bioenno Power products.

It's got the juice
So far, this battery has been worth its price. It's a little more expensive than you might expect to pay, but the performance and low weight make up for that. Handles running my IC-7100 at 100w without breaking a sweat.

Great for portable radio work
Works very well with my Yaesu 991a. Charges fast and does not get hot charging at 5 amps. Also does not get hot while rag chewing at full power output (draws about 23 amps). I use a West Mountain Radio Epic PWRgate for charge controlling and discharge.

Arrived broken but still works
I’ll be blunt. This arrived broken with cheap plastic. I think the battery will operate okay, however.

New 5 yr review, did not last (x2 batteries)
This is updated 5 year review. I have both a 20ah and 40ah bioenno battery. I use them for HAM radio. Unfortunately, both batteries are less then 70% at this point in their life. When I purchased, I was told to expect that after 10 years, would still be 90% (so the 40ah battery would still give me 36ah after 10 years)This life span was taken into account when buying these batteries (Cost vs life, lower weight battery, ect)I do want to point out that Bioenno has excellent customer service answering questions ect. But the battery has a 2 year warranty. So just to be clear, the failure is the life of these batteries (2 batteries) for the cost of the battery, vs the warranty.Cheers, Doug
