Oregon Trail II

I bought this for my son because he had played it while at school & he really liked it. I like it because it is not shoot 'em up like most video games but instead you have to really think to get through to the end alive! On our version there is no fishing which my son does miss but still enjoys the game. Also, the game does not fill our entire monitor but you can still see it fine.

I bought the Oregon Trail for my children 25 years ago. They wore it out! I purchased the Oregon Trail II so my grandchildren could enjoy a good game and even learn a little history without realizing it. So many games today are full of violence etc, that it's nice to have a game you can actually encourage your children-grandchildren-to play. The game is not difficult to learn. It has action, education, and fun to play. Who could ask for more!!!

Came on time. No problems. Only caution is that you have to know how to get around the program limitations on current windows editions.

I bought this game for my daughter thinking that she would enjoy playing it as much as I did when I was younger-and I was right! It's nice to let my daughter use the computer and know that she is doing something worthwhile rather than wasting her time! I will say that I happen to like the original version better :)But this one is great too!

This is an old game that is a little clunky. Young kids might find it interesting if played with an older adult to coach them along.

This is one of the only games that my family has all enjoyed playing on the computer. It is a very simple concept compared to today's computer games, but it has some historical facts in it, and it can be completed in a short amount of time. We did not like to newer versions of the game, only this one.

I can't figure out how to make the screen larger, but all in all, it is as I remember from 15 years ago or so.

Love the game but its not compatible for my computers and laptops at home.
