DHS Zinc Shampoo, 8 Fl Oz

My scalp is very senstive, but it loves this zinc pyrithicone! This shampoo has gentle cleansers and thankfully not a lot of extra garbage. I'm able to use it 4-5 times a week with no issues and ZERO FLAKES or itch. I would love it without fragrance, but the smell alright and goes away after rinsing so I'm more than willing to overlook it. I was also using the coal tar DHS but it ended up being too strong, although I still have it around for a seb deem flare if needed.

Love This Shampoo! This shampoo has been a game-changer for my hair! It leaves my scalp feeling clean and refreshed without drying it out. My hair feels softer, looks shinier, and is much easier to manage. I’ve also noticed less frizz and breakage since I started using it. The scent is light and pleasant, and a little goes a long way. Definitely one of the best shampoos I’ve tried — highly recommend!

Has a medicinal smell to it but works well for my oily scalp. Does tend to dry out my strands away from my scalp, so I suggest following with a lightweight conditioner if you also have oily hair.

I’ve been using this for two months. I had pretty severe dishydrotic eczema with big yellow flakes and scalp odor. I moved to sulfate free products years ago that helped but this past year it’s been really bad. Within a few uses I had amazing results. Two months later I have only a few regular flakes and a clear scalp. The itchiness is nearly completely gone. It’s a great clarifying shampoo, but a little drying, so I alternate between this and my other regular shampoo. Highly recommend for eczema sufferers! Better than anything the dermatologist prescribed. It seems to be keeping oiliness and dryness of my hair in check which was an unexpected added bonus. Doesn’t affect volume negatively. All around wonderful!

okay so this might be a little long but I want to give a good, thorough review. I thought this would stink since it has a lot of strong chemicals I guess you would call it, but it smells like baby powder/oil and my boyfriend thought so too! I was diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis by my dermatologist (requires a medical diagnosis) and so far, this seems to be working GREEATTTTTTT. I hated how my scalp was CONSTANTLY itching and very very oily, and I would pull out like small clumps of this really oily, thick dandruff like stuff when I scratched my head (similar to dandruff but not flaky) i’ve only used it twice and I can already tell a difference. no more itching & not as much of those small clumps. I could tell it was breaking it down the first time I used it. much improvement only after 2 washes! make sure to follow the directions for the best results - 2 cycles per shower. it said to use it twice a week but I only wash my hair twice a week so I just used it both times now i’m going down to 1 of my 2 wash days. I wasn’t sure if I should still use my regular shampoo so I DIDN’T, so I could see results and by doing that I feel it’s worked faster/better although when washing it all out at the end it makes the top of your scalp have that chlorine feel to your hair but i’d rather live with that then the itching and thick/oily clumps and it’s only when washing it out my hair doesn’t feel like that afterwards. l definitely recommend to anyone with seborrheic dermatitis as well! update 4/19/22: this is extremely strong and I think it might of dried my hair out TOO much cause I stopped using it probably 2 months ago since my seborrheic dermatitis is gone but my hair still feels very rubbery after shampooing with my regular shampoo. might be a buildup? idk. talking to a few cosmetologists to try and see how to repair it

This shampoo is great for dermatitis and dry scalp. It is also a good price.

i used the shampoo only once and I feel the difference, it nourishes your scalp and feels awesome. Do remember that it stings when you apply it on your scalp. It works like charm. Doesn't dry out your scalp. Highly recommended. Worth the money.
