Greater Goods Food Scale, Slim & Compact Build, 1g Precision (Ash Gray)

I bought another brand of kitchen scale and it lasted all of about 2 weeks and was double the price of this one. I have been prior to the previous scale I had (and after it broke), I was using a friend's scale. I really liked the simplicity of hers, but couldn't find that same version, so insert this "Nourish Digital Kitchen Scale" by Greater Goods. Long story short - I LOVE it. It's simple, easy to use, and doesn't have the same issues I had with my 1st one with cleaning. It's sleek, light weight, and when compared with my friend's scale, they both come out to the exact same measurements, so I'm assuming they're both very accurate. I love the easy toggle option and the touch options are very responsive to touch. I also thought it was awesome than an EXTRA battery was included in packaging (could be easily missed if you're not paying attention). I've only had this for 2 days, but as frequently as I use this (measuring every meal), I know very quickly if I like it or not. I can't speak to it's longevity yet, but I will update my review if I have issues - otherwise - and easy FIVE stars!

I set out to lose 30 lb using the mynet diary app is the primary tool. For the first couple months I measured my food using measuring cups but then I have already friends scale and realized my portions and calorie counts were way out of whack. There were a lot of fancy scales on Amazon but since I really didn't know what I wanted, I tried this one. It is perfect. I can put a bowl on it, then zero out the weight, and weigh ingredients as I build the salad or whatever I'm putting in it. Super convenient. Not a lot of bells and whistles but for the value it is fantastic and works perfectly for what I need. I also bought a bathroom scale from greater good and am very happy with it.

This is my first product from Greater Goods and I am thoroughly impressed. The care for the environment is important to me, so its great that I can find a company like Greater Goods that also shares those values. We have been looking for a digital kitchen scale for a while now and by chance we happened upon this one and can not be happier. I added images to show the accuracy of this scale, now of course keep in mind its +/- to a certain degree, this is not an analytical scale in a clinical laboratory. Super easy to use, and if you are using a container like I did in my images -- put the container on the scale, then"zero" it and it will show a small icon in the corner indicating you are using a container. This is the "tare" feature. Then place the item you wish to weigh in the container. As you can see from my images the garlic powder from the bag was labelled 0.09 oz, and once I placed it into the plastic ramekin it registered 0.1 oz. This is an acceptable weight difference as of course many factors come into consideration in weighing spice (humidity, age, etc.). Over all, this kitchen scale is fantastic and easy to use. It's a great addition to any level of cooking skill. It is accurate and looks good on the counter. More importantly the company that provides it has an environmentally conscious business plan.

Small and lightweight, but works well for measuring smaller amounts and single serving type dishes or portions.

this nifty little scale made all the difference in making sour dough starter and bread. The gram measurements are quite different than teaspoon and tablespoons. So affordable and easy to use!!

Exactly what I wanted. Small-does not take too much counter space. Precise! Love that’s it stainless. Highly recommend!

Works well and is accurate! I had purchased a differed brand that looked nicer but at the end of the day this one looks decent and performs!

Use it for sourdough! Easy to use, has diff weighing options (grams, oz, etc), very sensitive to weight (in a good way!), and adjusts immediately. Comes with batteries. The buttons can be a bit of a fumble sometimes (like trying to press it properly) but for the most part can press without issue.

The scale is much smaller than I expected it to be but that's fine, makes it easier to store. It works well and it's easy to use. The only thing I don't like about it is that once the battery is used up the only way to change it would be to remove the WHOLE backing of the scale. Which will probably result in damaging something inside. Regardless, for a battery operated article it should be possible to either recharge the battery or change it out without taking the whole thing apart!!!
