I bought this glider because I wanted something that moves. This barely budges more than an couple inches. As many reviewers said, the instructions were not clear and it was more difficult to put together than it should have been. I like the color of the cushions and it is comfortable to sit on, although the small cushions should also have ties on them.

Thank you to all who commented about the assembly instructions. The comments were helpful because the instructions were not. I also found the following items to be true:2B should say Long bolt, not medium3B should say Medium bolt, not longAfter attaching the long arms of the glider rods to the seat, THEN slide the base OVER the rods and attach the short arms to the base. Hope this helps someone else.After assembly the glider was perfect and comfortable.

The glider was nicely packaged with all parts segregated and well-labeled. I am a DIYer and was able to assemble it in an hour unaided, though help from another would have speeded the process. The one hitch was that the back piece (very pretty by the way) was slightly warped which made one of the four attaching bolts for that part difficult to line up. But the instructions stressed that no tightening should be done until the end, and that, with some twisting force, allowed the difficult bolt to be threaded. Subsequent tightening of the four required a little more force than was pleasant with the hex key provided, but I used a hex attachment with a ratcheting wrench for most of it. The final product is very nice looking and sturdy though fairly light-weight. My wife and I were able to walk it about 50 yards to our garden shelter without difficulty. It is very comfortable, and its relatively short gliding travel distance seems just about right.

Seat cushion is firmer than I would have liked

Just as described, easy assemble, thick cushions, price was right. Use it on remodeled patio.

It wasn’t too hard to assemble, but the instructions may be a little vague. My problem with this seat is the back cushions don’t have ties so every time the wind blows I have to go searching for my pillows in the yard.

The cushions aren't 6 inches thick! They are about 3 1/2 inches ,not as comfortable as I hoped. I added another cushion under the bottom. The back cushions keeps falling over because they don't have ties. Other than I like the glider. The motion is relaxing. It seems very sturdy. The Armrest are very comfortable . It was easy for me and my husband to assemble, it took about an hour.
