Challenger 2.0 Headgear

i needed a decent headgear for competition and prevent injuries so I bought this on a whim. I never liked any of my headgears untilI bought this one.Great protection, i could tell the impacts were more diminished when wearing the headgear. Headgear is mostly secure in place, doesnt slide as much. Material on the inside feels soft and comfortable. My ears fit well into the earholes. Very light weight. Overall my head fits really well. The colors are pretty cool,Best part about this headgear is VISIBILITY. It is awesome. My top vision isnt blocked like my other headgears. However, the cheek protection seems to stick out from my face, which can cover some of my lower vision, but not by much.Really great product at an affordable price. I love Venum!

Good vision, Wore it for a Muay Thai PMT.Comfortable. Best to have someone to get it on tight for you. If properly put on, it will not move and you’ll forget its there. Easy to clean.Softens blows, do your research. Padding doesn’t necessarily prevent CTE. Will help with bruising and skin damage.

Working well so far (couple of months). For me in the past, I've had two main issues with boxing headgear. 1. I had a ringside one with leather lining which would start to slip around my head once it got sweaty. I don't know how they can even sell them that way, totally nonfunctional. But this Venum headgear has good lining that clings to your skin better. 2. I would have my ears get pushed by the ear slots(?) in said other headgear. It was uncomfortable and if the headgear slipped much (as the previous one did), it really sucked. This Venum headgear does that a bit, but much less.Also, having extra cheek padding is good for people like me with big noses that I don't wish to have broken. :0Con: No real padding on the top of head, so don't get punched in top of your skull.

I'm not a professional fighter, but I do train often and try to get in sparring as much as I can. Here are my thoughts on the Venum Challenger 2.0 Headgear:PROS:- Comparable in price to the competition. I looked at a lot of headgear before settling here. I did not need an extremely high quality head piece, as I do not spar on a regular basis. Based on the reviews and the brand reputation, I felt I was getting my money's worth here without sacrificing quality.- Cool design. You can see the pictures for yourself.- Comfortable fit. I have a big head - there, I said it. And this headgear fits me just fine. There are three pieces that velcro together in the back to get your fit just right. At best, you can leave two of them stuck together all the time to get this on and off, but you'll need to secure it every time you put this on. I have not had any issues with the headgear sliding over my face. My ears also fit well inside the "ear cups".- Good view. I've worn crappy headgear that obstructed some of my peripheral eyesight during sparring. The design of this one does not block very much of my view.No cons that I can think of at the moment. These were able to absorb some of the punishment, but at the end of the day, you're still going to feel punches. I like to think they help with the vibrations that go through my head. I would recommend these over the cheaper brands such as everlast.

Fits great and keeps the bruises at bay!

Comfortable, well-made sparring head gear (currently using for krav maga sparring) at a reasonable price. Good cheek protection for nose blows, and locks in the jaw nicely. Light weight, but sturdy enough to dampen most punches. Synthetic leather outer is holding up well so far (couple of weeks of use).

Well, it is not as good as I was expecting but it’s still a good headgear.First, I am 1.88 cm and weight around 90 kg.I do a lot of sparring and I think that in order to spar, at that weight ,you need to have some good training gear.Main issue for me is the chin. It slips off when I get hit, sometimes.second thing is vision, it’s ok but not great.Third -The nose protection is cool although it can prevent free flow of air.Pros- it absorbs quite wellPros - very good material and very good setup.Overall i think the it is a good option for you, in that price range.

One size fits all, easy to adjust, good fit. Looks good and seems to give good protection.
