Solid Follow up to Box 1
Box 1 was slightly better but this one is very ingenious, challenging and fun. Great puzzles and surprising solutions. Bought it for Thanksgiving and play with all ages and everyone enjoyed it. Hopefully a Box 3 is in the works.

Wonderful way to spend the evening
This was a wonderful way to spend an evening! My wife and I played box 1 when it came out, and couldn't wait to buy and play box 2. It was just as fun and I can't wait for box 3

Box one was better, but this was fun
The quality of the game is great... it's a beautiful, sturdy box. The gameplay, I didn't like as much as the first one.... I don't want to go into spoilers but in a way, this game wasn't solo, and I feel like you didn't do as much on your own as opposed to box one. I felt accomplishment and satisfaction after box one, this one not so much.

Great game
Not as challenging as its predecessor, box one, but still a great game. I won't offer any spoilers but what I will say is don't go exploring. Let the game guide you. You don't want to spoil anything for yourself. Also, set aside about 2 to 3 hours for the gameplay and have a flashlight and something a few inches longer than a pencil (I used a chopstick) handy. Oh and keep in mind that you will need internet access to play. There is no "offline" way to play. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this game but it would have been nicer to not have to spend as much time online. If you loved box one then you'll like this but maybe not quite as much. That said, I look forward to box 3. Oh and please reset the game and give it away. There is no replayability value in this so soread the wealth. And, if you decide to keep the souvenir mentioned in the final bit of gameplay please replace it with a note and a trinket (I used a small coin) for the next person.

A Big Flop Compared to Box One
This box isn’t quite as good as the first one. Let’s talk about how hard it is. It’s surprisingly easy. For most of the game, it feels like the game is guiding you, which isn’t really fun. It seems like it’s all an illusion, and it doesn’t feel like it’s making the game better. It tells you your choices matter, but you realize that’s not always true. Eventually, you’ll connect with someone else playing the same game. But, sadly, it’s just a basic chatbot that helps you with the puzzles. This is, in my opinion, the worst part of the game. It takes you out of the game completely. It asks you questions, but even if you solve the problem early, the chatbot ignores you and keeps acting like you need more hints. This happens a lot. I will say that the box itself has some fun surprises, and if it were just that, it would have been a good game. But the need to play with a fake “chatbot” really ruins it. Do I regret playing it? A little. Would I recommend it to someone else? Definitely not. If you haven’t played the first box, I would suggest you play that one instead.

Definitely not up to par with Box 1.... I suggest you pass on this item...
My wife and I love mystery boxes.... we were very active in another subscription based, HAK, until it was bought out and now is no longer worth the time... my wife found Box 1 for sale at our local Kroger and she picked it up.... we enjoyed it very much.. then we heard about Box 2 and I purchased it.... I have to be honest, Box 2 is just not a great time. Seems like it was dumbed down and we "solved" it in half the time of Box 1. We cannot recommend this for others.... especially those that completed Box 1 and expected the same quality... you will be disappointed....

WOW! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO EXERCISE YOUR MIND!
I'm still in the middle of playing box one... But I couldn't help going ahead and getting box two. It doesn't take as long to play it as box one does but with that being said the puzzles are great! Honestly I think I would buy anything that Neil Patrick Harris has his hands in! His playing cards are in my basket now... Can't wait to order them!!! So to summarize this was a great game and I recommend it to anyone!

Great Game. Follow my suggestions.
Overall, this box was much easier to solve than the first. If you buy this, which I recommend, pay attention to the caution regarding crushing components, and MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FLASHLIGHT. It was fun having the video help/game player involvement. Great game pieces to save, too.

Like most other reviews... This second box by NPH was trash compared to the first. If you're okay texting a computer the whole time instead of playing the game then this is for you. The first puzzle box was my favorite I've ever done. This one?? I threw it out after 30 minutes. Not fun. Waste of money. Huge letdown. The only plus I have for this is some of the cool puzzles inside but even they are scarce.

My son-in-law has enjoyed bth Box One and Box Two. The games are different enough so it doesn’t seem like just more of the same.
