Rit All-Purpose Liquid Dye, Apple Green

Easy to use; worked great on my puffer jacket. My jacket was very pale gray (see the tag in the picture) and turned out a beautiful reddish brown with the Camel dye. The entire jacket dyed well and uniformly (except the tag, thread and zipper, which didn't dye at all). I added vinegar to the dye bath, and the jacket barely bled out any color when I first rinsed it out. It didn't bleed at all in the washer and has stayed unchanged since.

Works well on a variety of fabrics though the color changes. On cotton, it’s very brown. On synthetic its light brown. On cotton/poly blend its more of a maroon color. Keep that in mind.

Gives the best dye for natural fibers.

ritz dye is a age old brand thats been around forever, for a reason. keep in mind you will need a mordant. lol i bet you dont know what that means, basically you need to add a lot of salt, the more the better. you can buy professional mordants but salt is just fine and is dirt cheap. as for the dye itself, it doesnt really smell bad. and one bottle has the capacity to goes a way, it looks nice and dark. just be sure to wear gloves or you will have dyed fingers. i tend to let it sock overnight so the dye can really work its way into the fabric. this is best used with high cotton fabric, they make a different one for man made fabric. as a added use i have used it to dye wood, just paint it on with a brush.

Dyed a white skirt yellow for a Kpop Demon Hunters Mira costume last Halloween. It turned out great, a true lemon yellow exactly as described on the package and online (wanted golden yellow but it was sold out), and was easy to use with no experience. It still looks the same after I washed it, so can reuse next year. I'm buying the same dye again to dye a white top yellow for a Sabrina Carpenter outfit for Coachella. I got the rose quartz color in theory, but I didn't get the rose quartz color in execution. It came out much more peachy than I would have liked. Note: This was for basic tie-dying. I don't know what the color would be like if I were trying to solid dye something.

Beautiful color! Im in a green phase! 💚 These items were all white/off-white and turned out pretty well!

This dye does a super job. When I need again I will order but I would also order the lock dye bottle that Amazon recommends also.

Avevo giacchino e magliette bianche, ho utilizzato tutto il prodotto che dopo 15 minuti, con tintura a mano, ha raggiunto quello che volevo. Il giacchino è 20 cotone e resto poliestere, risultato eccellente.

Horrible! Para empezar, el color es azul, no es verde. Y para acabar, no tiñe fibras sintéticas, como sí afirman en el anuncio. Lo quería para teñir unas zapatillas de deporte. Adjunto fotos de lo mal que se han quedado. Deberían indemnizar por las prendas dañadas. Tengo que tirar a la basura estas zapatillas porque están detenidas y ya no me las puedo poner así.

It turned red

Amazing colour saturation, it worked perfectly on two test garments and sadly didn't take on the third garment of the same material that was actually needed in sage 😂
