This has been a huge upgrade for me with the drawer access. My first one was with the top lid that opens. The problem with that is that I have take what ever is attached to the top off first before I have open the lid to gain access to the contents inside. With this one I never have to do that. Quick and easy access with the drawers. I'm a Electrician in a automation shop and I roll my tools out to a machine for troubleshoot and repair. I pride myself in showing up and having everything I need on the spot without having run back and forth to my big tool box for different tools. This setup give me an awesome professional look as well as very functional. The quality of the tool box is good as well. Not only am I rolling out my tools but when I show up and have to wait for what ever reason the tool box also functions as a seat. When I'm in a panel wiring or changing drives I can comfortably sit on the tool box which is a God Send. The tool box is light weight and I use a Python cable lock to lock it up when needed.

As an electrical apprentice, I bought a Klein modbox toolbag when I started tech school, and when I was hired after school I realized it was part of the modbox system and decided to keep buying in. I have overall very good impressions of this modbox system, but there's one thing I find lacking: there are no first- nor third-party casters available to install on the front side. And better yet, looking at attempts online it seems that it would be difficult to even design them with the way this thing is made. Maybe they could make wheels that clip on the side somehow, but that's beyond me. When I roll onto the job site, I need to put my tools out of the way, but I need them to be accessible too. For me this usually means rolling the back up against the wall, and when it comes time to roll out it is usually awkward at best and a potential minor hazard at worst, between leaning over and tipping it back from the front with all the tools loaded up, trying to get it out of position. This is a regular occurrence and is worth noting, and is why I desire front casters. Other than that, you might want to know that these drawers are not rated as water proof. I've walked in light rain with it and haven't had any issues, but again it is worth noting. Overall good impressions of build quality and functionality. In the bottom drawer I keep my compact bandsaw, drill, driver, a battery, two chargers, bandsaw blades, and there is still room for some more stuff. In the top drawer I've got battery, tape measure, various gadgets and gizmos. Since I have a half-width toolbag that goes on top, I also bought a half-width box drawer to go on top which lets me store some more; the half-width drawer is a little wider than the 1/3rd divider sections of the top drawer, so it lets me store slightly longer things like some spade bits or pencils, pens, small notebooks, ugly's, etc. Can't quite fit an ugly's in the divided sections in the top drawer of this product being reviewed, but you can in the half-width drawer.
