Sedgehammer Plus Turf Solution, 13.5 Grams, Nutsedge Control

It works but don't expect immediate results. I applied it to a small patch on my lawn and in about a week, I saw it stopped growing and started to yellow. It did work however I had to reapply in one area. Great product.

Does a great job, applied twice and hasn’t come back yet. The small bits that have, struggling to grow. I mixed half the package because a gallon was more than I needed. Still worked good.

the product worked great for a small area, i did not find it covered the square footage at noted if you have heavier sedge weeds. I would use the product again

It just works just as claimed. (Which shouldn’t seem like a miracle, but it does) When those intrepid, objectionable, and otherwise impossible-to-kill sedge weeds crop up, you treat them and they go away. Just mix up the liquid, generously spray the sedge (I try to get it from every angle), and wait. In a week or so, the leaves start to yellow at the tips and edges, progressing to involve the entirety of the blades. The plants eventually shrivel up and die. Nothing else in the garden is damaged. It is amazing. BTW, the directions say to mix a new batch each time. In interest of full disclosure, I often do not. Sometimes one gallon lasts the whole season. I just shake it up well each time before spraying. It does not appear to be any less effective when it is not freshly mixed.

Works as expected. Packet makes 1 gallon of solution. Spray as directed. Nutsedge dies within 3-4 days. Much cheaper then buying pre-mixed solutions

Works ! Takes a week. Once applied the nutsedge no longer grows . It just looks like it’s dying a slow death.

It has been about 4 days and the Nutsedge that I sprayed this on has gone from having 'shiny' blades to 'dull' blades, and the blades that used to stand straight-up have now fallen to the sides, so it seems to be working. I did read that it can take many weeks and sometimes a second application to fully kill off the Nutsedge. I did not use a full gallon of water/mix; I used a half-gallon. So if in 4 or so more weeks the Nutsedge is still there then I can spray it again. Fingers crossed.

Had a stubborn nutsedge problem in the lawn and nothing was touching it. This stuff took care of it. Just don't expect overnight results, give it a week or two and you'll see it dying off. Best part is it doesn't come back. If nutsedge is your problem, this is your answer.
