ChipoloPOP Tracker Tag - Colorful, Compatible, Loud Bluetooth Tracker with Call Your Phone & Out of Range Alert, Works with Apple Find My or Google's Find My Device (Blue)

The initial launch of Android trackers was not great and it was substantially behind Apple's solution however sometime late last year it went from being completely unusable except at very busy places to usable almost anywhere when Google made some sort of backend change. The POP was easy to setup, I tapped the setup and a notification came up on my phone to add it and in 3 clicks it was done.I don't like being unable to replace the battery but the ones I purchased early last year continue to work so they seem to have matched their advertised battery life so other than I hate to throw used batteries away it is functional. Others noted that they felt kind of cheap and I can see why but I interpreted that as being very light which I appreciated for when it is on my keys and it seems sturdy without any indications that it will fall off.

I bought this to use with Android (Pixel 7 Pro), but was never able to get it to work. I was able to pair it with the Chipolo app after many tries including numerous factory resets. Even getting this far, the device did not work is described. Where it said double click, it took maybe 20 clicks before anything responded. Once in the app I could launch Google's Find My Device app and it showed both my phone and the Chipolo POP, but only the first time. After closing and reopening the Google app only my phone showed, regardless if I opened it directly or via the Chipolo app.I contacted support but they were unresponsive asking me to send a photo of the device, which I did along with screen shots.

These are not Apple Air Tags and don’t track like them. They do give the location but as far as I know they don’t give you an arrow like Air Tags will when you get close. That’s ok because they do give a sound when requested in the FindMy app. These are nice because they come in various colors and have a hole that allows them to be attached easier. I got two black ones and put them on my wife’s black sneakers and now never worry about losing them.

For reminders about leaving the vicinity this is amazing!Functionality is awesome for my use case, I use it on my bag at work and also my cat (I switch it between them often, I just need to buy a second one at this point) and it has been accurate in every case I've needed. Connectivity isn't any problem if you are somewhat patient while it processes in the app.The sound level is really good, almost at loud as my phone's which is awesome.I love the double click feature to find my phone, and I can use the app with EASE since it's fairly simple, which is such an underrated FEATURE nowadays, can see this being a life saver for a lot of people.

Had this product before. Love.It. It easily connects to my phone. Helps me find my phone. When my keys helps me find my keys with my phone. But when in my purse helps me find my purse with my phone.It's very useful very easy to set up very great products. Put them on anything you misplace regularly and it works!!!

I went through the setup which didn't really work, except for asking for a lot of permissions. Eventually it got added to the app. The Android app (it's a bad cross-platform app so this applies to iOS too) lacks much functionality at all, and there's almost no settings per tracker. After leaving my house without it, I discovered it would ring when I got near it, and this is behavior that I absolutely don't want. I DO NOT WANT IT TO MAKE SOUNDS AT ALL. There are no settings to configure. How can I trust it to not be ringing when it's in luggage or somewhere ringing is inappropriate.I contacted customer service who asked me to needlessly repeat what my issues was, and then they never answered anything.It's going straight to the landfill.

Works great, I will be buying more of them. No monthly subscription charges, battery last a long time. It works for both Android and Apple. The tracking is good, not as good as something using cell connection with monthly charges. Yu can use it to help find your phone as well. It als works as a remote to take photos with your phone. Very easy to use with a simple to use app.

Setup was a snap. You can choose also to install the Chipolo app which gives some more features.Hope it will not impose too much battery use on my cellphone.
