Arccos Smart Sensors: Automatic Golf Game Tracking System, A.I. Powered GPS Rangefinder & Smart Club Distances (Gen 4, Smoke)

The Arccos Smart Sensors are like having a brutally honest caddie who remembers every single one of your mistakes—so you don’t have to. If your game is currently "a work in progress" (spending more time in the trees than on the green), these sensors are the wake-up call you need to actually get better. The magic is in the Automatic Shot Tracking. You just screw the sensors into the top of your grips, sync them to your phone, and play. Arccos captures every swing, distance, and location using GPS. For someone who might lose a few balls a round, the "Find My Ball" feature alone is worth the price of admission. The real value comes from the Strokes Gained analytics. Instead of just knowing you shot a 114, Arccos breaks down why. It might show that your driving is actually decent, but your "approach to green" is where the wheels fall off. It identifies your true club distances (the "Smart Distance"), which usually reveals that you don't hit your 7-iron quite as far as you think you do. While it won't fix a slice overnight, it turns your "sucky" rounds into a roadmap for improvement. It’s the ultimate tool for the golfer who is tired of guessing and ready to start knowing.

Using with Apple Watch 11 and no Phone 16 has been quite cumbersome. 1st Round: Apple Watch did not recognise the Gen4 sensor. Not possible to start round from watch. 2nd round: After re-syncing all sensors, Apple Watch start of round and tracking worked. But data was only synchronized to Arccos App for 13 out of 18 holes. Rest go lost. 3rd round: After a Iphone and Apple Watch software update, Apple Watch again did recognise Gen4 sensors as Gen1 and hence did not start the round. After finished my round, I had to re-syncronised all sensors again. So far the system is very unreliable and becomes more of a distraction than a help while playing. And to use it with the Iphone in your pocket is not an viable alternative, specially after having spend 270 euros for the sensor kit. Seriously considering to return the sensors and go for the Garmin S70 system.

Ich will die Sensoren nicht mehr missen! Als "datenliebender" Mensch gucke ich gerne nach meiner Runde auf die Auswertungen, die mir wichtige Infos geben (u.a. mit welchem Schläger habe ich wie weit geschlagen und an welchem Loch). Man erhält auf Wunsch Trainingsempfehlungen und kann sich auch immer sicher sein, dass man am Ende der Runde den korrekten Score hat. Die dazugehörige App ist sehr easy zu verstehen. Einziges Manko/verbesserungswürdiger Punkt: man muss die Sensoren zwischendurch immer mal wieder festdrehen, da sie sich mit der Zeit lösen und man sie verlieren kann.
