I bought these for my family white river rafting trip. 3 out of 4 of us fell into the river on the last rapid. The 2 of us that had these on came up with our glasses still on. We were both wearing our sunglasses on our face with the strap tightened to our head. And, I'm not talking about a little dunk in the river. We were sucked down and churned. So glad I bought these!

They do float as advertised. They were tough to get on my prescription sunglasses, but once on, the strap stayed in place and doesn't appear to be loosening. I wore my glasses on the beach and into the water daily during our recent vacation. I purposely took the glasses off and tested to see if the strap would remain afloat-it does! I went parasailing and secured the glasses snuggly to my head, no issues with wind pulling my glasses off. I'm happy with my purchase.

These are way bigger than I thought they’d be but they will work for our trip to the beach.

I ordered these to see if they would work as floats for our grandkids' swim goggles that were constantly getting lost in the lake. They work perfectly! We position the bend of the strap over one of the goggle head straps, then the little black slider is pushed up against the strap to keep it from sliding. The float strength is perfect for the goggles, and they are so lightweight that they don't interfere with swimming nor are they uncomfortable on the head. Perfect!

The lack of a familiar object (like a pencil or a ruler) in the photo makes these "straps" appear to be long and very slim. In fact, the "straps" are round and not flat. They are thicker than a pencil, with each one being about 1/2 inch in diameter, essentially the thickness of a regular Sharpie.It's not a product flaw, because the "straps" work fine (it helps that they are somewhat squishy), but neither are they what I wanted, and not worth the cost of return shipping.

Easily float a pair of sunglasses. I keep a few on the boat for guests. Too bulky for non-boating use, but lightweight and comfortable.

I would not recommend this product. They do not stay on your glasses if you go out into the ocean or do athletic water sports.

I bought these after losing several pair of expensive glasses. I had them on yesterday in the ocean and got hit with a huge wave that ripped them off my head. About 5 minutes later i saw the red strap floating about 30 yards away, I swam to them and sure enough - all was well. Saved me $250. Great product and price.
