Hi! I am having a problem with the telescopic pole instructions. Can someone help please?

Without knowing specifically what problems you are having I'm not sure my answer will help. I found the instructions a little confusing in the end we just put the tubes together at an equal ish distance either end and then I secured round with some strong tape. It's worked fine.

are the 8 securing straps included, and what is the height to the top of the hand wheel ?

Yes the straps are included. I have moved house so I can’t measure the height but it’s about 45 cm from memory

What is the maximum width solar cover will fit on the reel.

I haven't measurer Ed the full width but it's big. I'd say approximately 7metres.
