I didn't think I needed instructions to put it on and initially was upset that it wasn't working. But I had not used the straps correctly! Looking at pictures makes it very easy to put on and seems to work well...though my child still slouches a bit at the shoulders it IS helping significantly. Will keep adjusting to find out if it can be better. Seems a good strong material but the velcro will stick to some fabrics (a cotton shirt she had on) since it's a little on the small side for her and the velcro is not 100% overlapping. Easy fix though. Will try to update review after we try it for a while.

We received our item today it seems to be in very good sturdy condition my daughter suffers with cerebral palsy and quadriplegic and she has severe spasticity of her muscles so this vest works very good to keep her comfortable in whatever activity we engage in it helps her from rounding her shoulders and her back when she is trying to move

My kid still slouches. Doesn't keep the back straight at all.

This product worked well for my daughter. The brace did come with metal rods in the back, we had to cut a small hole and take them out. They were too itchy, uncomfortable, and a nuisance. Overall though the brace is a nice posture correcter. My daughter also uses it for horseback riding. although even with the metal rods out, you can't bend over in the brace, or sit on the floor in the brace.
