I look a bit like a demented duck in this, appearance aside it is lightweight and constructed in a manner that unlike other respirators allows me to wear it for longer periods of time in Comfort. I keep several styles of masks/respirators on hand, this is the easiest to breathe in. With cold flu season upon us I do not go out in crowds unmasked-no one with copd ora compromised immune system should. Look at the Ebola patients supposed to be self monitoring taking flights and cruises instead. No one is going to stay home whether they are contagious with the common cold, norovirus, enterovirus and on and on. We can only protect ourselves as individuals and masks and sanitizer are simple aids to keeping healthy. So Christmas shopping will see me going shopping with the "duck" bill. If it offends others I'm sorry but I don't want to end up in intensive care because I'm too embarrassed to protect myself.

There was no fluid sheild as stated in the description. That was a vital part of why I purchased these masks. I had to wear them on international flights, and in airports, knowing that there was no real seal. I have used the same masks before from another source but they had the fluid sheilds and it makes a huge difference. It is a thin layer of some type of plastic/silicon or something about 3/4 of an inch all around the part that is against the face. It makes an air tight seal against the face.

7/6/18 update. I purchased this product in 2014 and have had them stored in a zip baggy, constant indoor temperatures. Got one out today and the rubber straps broke to pieces. Broke my heart because I liked the mask itself. So, good for the short term use, but not for stocking purposes.Pro: Excellent mask, fast service. I work in health care and use these masks. Compact storage. Would purchase here again.Con: Of course, looks funny, and tricky to apply, but you will eventually get it. Consider timely use due to fragility of straps.I use them at home, on the farm, to clean the barns (molds, spores, etc). Great mask to have on hand in emergency kit. Of course, as will all N95's and above, hard to breathe, so anyone with current difficulty breathing due to respiratory problems, take note.

The respirator mask was exactly as it was advertised. It meets the N95 requirement. I would purchase this item again.

who doesn't love being protected from bad viruses and as a bonus looking like a duck? its super cool and funny at the same time.

I believe that these masks are counterfeit. The strap on every mask has broken upon trying to pull over multiple people's faces.

Mask fits loosely. Straps seems to have little tension to hold the mask.

Just thicker than I expected - not the problem of the product - the product of my not being familiar with the product.
