Easy change
Released a screw in the side of our mortise lock and pulled out the old lock. Screwed in the new one, retightened the screw and we were done. Super simple and cheap job that a locksmith would have charged hundreds of dollars for.

Easy to replace lock without a key
Just bought a house and key did not work. Purchased this and didn’t need to replace the entire door lock and handle.

Wish the cylinder wasn’t silver
Replacing a very old broken deadbolt with this one, my only issue is cylinder is silver and does not not match deadbolt as I wanted to keep the same asthetics as my original. Winded up spray painting entire face to fix this.

Easy to install
I am far from a Handyperson. But I was able to install this with ease. Some of the locksmiths didn’t want to replicate the keys because of a funky design, but with a little looking that issue was resolved.

Quality!
Just changed the lock on my rental unit after my tenant left. The old cylinder was flimsy and wonky this one was well machined and have great tolerance, the difference is night and day.

Worked to "re-key" an antique mortise lock with one caveat.
Works well to "re-key" an antique mortise lock. The only issue was the cam on the rear of the cylinder was slightly too large and interfering with operation. However, it was very easy to remove the screws holding the cam in place and grind down the cam. You have to be very careful to ensure the plug doesn't fall out however.
