An Excellent E reader Really it's a PRO. Earlier I have remarkable 2. I enjoyed with remarkable 2 for almost one year. A great devise. It's truly a Zero distraction device. After launching the the PAPER PRO model in the outside country I was very much disappointed that is not available in the Indian region. One fine day it appeared in Amazon India for purchase. A great delight for me. Immediately I ordered Paper pro model. After receiving the tab it was with seal , after opening the tab, I got stunned by seeing that. It is an incredible device with additional colours also 11.8 inch , which is absolutely a great upgrade.I really enjoying the colour PDF books with annotation. The marker plus pen is fabulous. Really paper feel writing. We don't expect that equal to ipad. The purpose of the tab is totally different. Also the basic running platform is also different. With their own limitations , I can say one word it is FANTASTIC.. guys just go for it. If you are a book lover , it is absolutely for you. Thanks to Amazon and Seller.

Highly priced inferior quality product.This product looks like under R&D and under initial stage of development, if I start then there is never ending list of problems but major ones.. 1) u will see gosht images in background when you use it. 2) very slow and soltware is like a hanging garden3) writting image is blur and bleeds, 4) color very faded and dull 5) charging is a major issue... Remarkable team say charge is with ur laptop or desktop... Which takes years to charge... I Can go on... At present My RM is now like a dead machine which never starts just after 4 months ( purchased on 1sr may 25)... Now Service backup: there is nothing called service back up... I had a major tech issue and when I contacted RM support they r like a laid back non responsive arrogant people.. They never come on surface they only chat through RM app or site... Good at giving all non sense tech advice with never work... Now I contact RM Indian vendor named SAVEX who sold this dead product through Amazon to me... Again as usual they all r very far from customer centric approach... They only know to say... Sarrr my team is working on it... Rather their team sleeps over it... Highly pathetic and unprofessional approach in selling this so called professional paper tab... PL DON'T WASTE UR MONEY ON THIS UNDER RATED PRODUCT

It’s great as of now!….just been a few weeks since I got my hands on this. I did not buy it with the expectation that it would replace a tablet so no disappointments there!! I use it purely as a notebook and to read pdf and sometimes epub books…..it’s a great device! Battery drains faster when you have the backlights on. Easy to use and I got it for about 59k….so I guess it was worth it?!

Very nice product. Ideal for thoughtful writers and people who want notes to be assembled in one place and not messy papers. If you can afford you should buy it surely for sake of writing smooth.

What a product. The writing feels good. No comparison with ipad and other multi functional tabs when it cones to note taking. Both have different target requirements. If you need something for thinking and writing this one is good.

I gave it a review of 3 because even though it has potential, it is not good yet. Pros: 1. Really good writing experience. Feels like paper, like it says. Supports a few colors, so you can draw diagrams in color. 2. Large enough screen to fit any book or paper. 3. E-ink is very light on power consumption. You can read for days non-stop without recharging. Cons: 1. The screen is very dark, it takes a lot of exeternal light to read. It would be pretty good outside in defused daylight, but even daylight coming through the windows feels a bit too dark. 2. Comparing against Amazon Kindle, this is at least 20% darker. So, it would actually absorb over 50% of the incident light, so you need a lot of light to read. 3. PDF rendering is kinda bad compared to the dpi it promises. The characters are not always drawn well enough and look jagged. The PDF rendering in Kindle is way better, just that it's screen is only 7". 4. The backlight is too feeble, don't expect to be able to use the device in darkness. The backlight in my Kindle is great. I don't understand why they would choose to have such feeble backlight, and that too with four levels It actually does not need any levels, the only level I can use is the max level, while using it under a LED bar light. 5. I hate the fact that you cannot export your notes to PDF or image or something like that even with the app. The app is very basic, only lets you organise your documents and read them. The image show comparison against Amazon Kindle.

I debated whether to get this or an iPad. The decision was especially difficult because of the high cost of the ReMarkable Paper Pro and the fact that it has far less functionality than a similarly-priced (or even cheaper) tablet. With the ReMarkable there’s no surfing the Internet, no shopping at Amazon, and no watching movies. This is strictly a tool for taking notes. But I only needed something for taking notes. Reviews I read said ReMarkable had the best ‘feel’ when writing, and since nite writing was what I needed, I bought the ReMarkabke instead of a different brand (or a tablet). I’ve now been using the Remarkable for a couple months at work. The resistance when writing (the “feel”) is indeed fairly close to writing on paper with a pen. I really like having all of my notes in one place now, separated in different files and folders that I’ve created. It beats having stacks of papers lying around and unavailable when you need them. The ReMarkable has dozens of templates that come preloaded with it, including temples for music, grids, and three different week planners. Apparently, you can buy move if you can’t find what you need on the device, but I really only use two: a lined page and a blank page. The colors the Paper Pro provides are a nice option for highlighting important things. The colors are fairly muted on the screen, though, but they do allow you to add color to your pages when needed. I’ve not yet needed to transfer data from the ReMarkable to a computer. I just keep everything on the device itself. I’ve also not converted writing to text yet, which requires you to set up an account with ReMarkable. An account is needed for this function because it’s a cloud-based service and requires an Internet connection. Overall, the Paper Pro has filled all my needs well. I only wish I had bought it sooner so I wouldn’t have so many paper notes lying around. If you can live with its steep price, the Paper Pro a nice tool to have.

If you enjoy writing by hand but want the convenience of keeping everything stored and backed up digitally, the reMarkable Paper Pro is worth every penny. It feels professional, reliable, and thoughtfully designed. I would honestly struggle to go back to paper now.
