Exact fit and it does what it is supposed to. If you are having issues with intermittent or slow not working on your vehicle, make sure the intermittent- governor is not at fault. The solder on the heat sink can fracture and re-soldering that is what actually fixed my issue.

Wrong Fit
Threading is to large. Original hole has to be filed larger. Now the locking nut doesnt fit. Not for Jeep CJ7's

Fell apart, sparking - fire hazard.
Bought this two and a half years ago and it worked fine until today when it literally fell apart while driving, in the rain of course.. The plastic part separated from the metal housing and it was sparking and fritzing until I reached under the dash and pulled the connector off the remaining dangling part.It was literally hissing and sparking for several minutes until I could pull the connector off. As an aside, I learned that my truck does not have a fuse listed for the wiper motors so I could not locate which fuse to pull to disconnect the power.
