You can actually buy these cheaper in the store at Walmart, plus, there's no two pack limit at the store. Ordering here through Amazon, you are limited to more than 2 units per order, for safety reasons because it is shipped through USPS. But, they are made in Brazil of high quality wood, of even size and of red phosphorous. They light every time, but the coating on the side of the box, the striker strip, is quite worn out by the time you get down to the last 6 or 7 matches. Carefully watching where you scratch on that strip each time can extend the life of the strip, use small sections of it for each few matches, working your way through the box, and as one side becomes unusable switch to the other side. Takes some practice but I've found it works out OK. I get my 'pennys' worth out of all my penny matches 😆

Worst wooden matches I have ever encountered. What happens first? The striker so much doesn't work that I use a lighter to ignite the match after I give up but still need the match, or the match breaks in half. Either choice is a 50/50 bet. Sometimes the head of the match just sails off into the wide blue yonder.

My husband uses these to light our wood burning gas fueled fire pit. He says these work the best so we have bought them several times. The always light on the 1st strike, stay lite until no longer needed at a reasonable price

Great matches BUT they do throw sparks.
