Why is wearing a brace bad for me?

I have several posture braces. The velcro type, spandex type, and now this. This is the only one I wear on a daily basis. Granted it doesnt hide under the clothes as well as the others because of the big foam pads, but the elastic pull actually corrects my posture and the foam pads keep my armpits from getting sore. Can't have everything I suppose, style and functionality and comfort, Im glad to give up style over the other two.
