I'm not bothered by the fact that these don't make a sphere. If you're looking to make professional quality bath bombs, you should probably spend more money to get a better product. There are pictures of the molds that DO show the flat bottom, but I will agree with the one 1 star review (which seems harsh) that if it's not eligible for return that is kind of a bummer.MY perspective is this. I've used the plastic molds before (and they literally broke upon the first use), I've used aluminum molds before but the problem is that I didn't have the quantity to make more than a couple at a time. A set of 6 allows me to make a nice gift set for someone. Especially if it's homemade, the size of these molds is decent (some are quite small - and only create bombs that will last a minute or so), the utility is fairly straightforward as well (how hard is it to fill something and squish together?). If this is your first time making bath bombs, I'd recommend finding small rubber bands to hold the molds together because there is usually a little expansion while it's "drying" (hopefully yours aren't too wet). Also if you're making them for immediate use, you don't have to seal them, but if you're using these molds and are planning on saving the bath bombs, I'd recommend investing in some type of sealing device/bag/container in order to prevent moisture and air getting into them.The lack of a 5 star review is in agreement with the person who left the 1 start review. Some of the photos seem to depict a completely round product (while there are others that clearly show the mold is NOT a perfect sphere).

These are not as pictured, they do not form a true sphere. They make ugly oval-shaped bath bombs and the worst part is that they are not even eligible for return. They also have a small flat surface on the bottom center of each half. They're terrible. I'm convinced that the three 5 star reviews are fake because these look nothing like the picture, which is in my opinion pretty blatant false advertising. Cut out the word sphere and maybe I'll be less insulted but I would rather have my money back. I wish I had gotten more of the Caydo molds instead of this garbage.

I had bought the plastic bomb mold in the past, they didn’t last too long, this bomb mold is aluminum. Light and strong, they are also very easy to clean.

Bought these for bath bombs. I admit that I didnt realize I ordered 2.6" molds but I was really misled by the picture. They are very small compared to the picture, I thought I ordered very large molds. Worse yet, they are not spherical, they are like a fat UFO shape. Total waste of money, too small and not a sphere. Will NOT make that mistake again.

These work as advertised. My bath bombs are the perfect size and release from the molds with relative ease.
