How are brushes cleaned afterwards please?

I am looking at this item and it is recommended that the cleaner be used first - did you do this or did you use the restorer by itself?

Have just used this on our outdoor furniture which was in quite a state due to being out in the sun 12 months of the year. First we used the cleaner then the restorer. Would certainly recommend & will be purchasing again when needed.

Would this take the rust off old horse shoes?
