Great motors if you know a thing or two.
I hope this is a helpful review. I do a lot of research and review reading before buying a product. I'm also very handy in many trades...with that said, these motors are great! I noticed a lot of negative reviews that these motors blow up shortly after use, the backs of them are weak, and the gears are hard to get on the shaft. All these statements are true unless you know what you're doing. First, to put the gears on it, it has to be tight because they are round shafts and not flat on one side. They need to be super tight or the gear will strip off. If you have a vise and a small chunk of metal to put on the back side to go in between the connections so you don't crush them, you then can simply press the gear on without damage. It makes the gears go in easy and prevents the back of the motor to blow out. Now, the motor does spin 40k RPMS. depending on what gear you put on it and the gear ratio of the application you use it with will vary how fast you want to expect it to be. I put my motors in a powerwheel for my son. We blew the 6v motor. I put this motor in but also replaced the relay that was also 6v to 12v. From some reviews statements, they blow up right away. So I question if they did the proper modifications other then swapping out motors. My son's powerwheel is much faster then it was. My son has 4 powerwheels total. I plan to buy more of these when those motors go. It is convenient that these motors range from 6v-24v so I can swap them between all four machines if I had to. I did test the motor at 6,12,18,24v... These motors do run very nice and stay cool at 12v and 18v which is optimal range. At 24v the motor gets a little warm but I wouldn't hesitate running it for hours in a powerwheel.Overall these motors are a great bang for your buck.

Not a direct fit, but they work
They were not a direct for for my daughter’s off-brand battery operated car, but they worked well with a slight modification to the metal housing. At this price I should have bought more because I’m running it with 18v power tool batteries and she goes tearing around like a speed demon in her car.If you need to replace your battery powered ride on vehicle motors, these ones work well and are a great value.

Work as expected
I changed these out for a stock pair of 550 9000 RPM motors. There was a red dot indicating the positive side. These motors stated 40,000 RPM. I can't verify this, but the toy car does move a slight bit faster and seams to have a slight bit more power in the grass.

It works.
Amazon says this is frequently returned. I'm going to guess that most people don't realize that there could be a fuse blown and that's what's wrong. Mine kept blowing fuses and after a test the reverse motor was bad. I ordered these motors and replaced the bad one and bingo, up and running again. I also converted the power wheel to a 20v dewalt battery when we first got it it runs great.

Fell Apart Within 3 Minutes
I bought these to replace the original motors on my son's Power Wheels ride-on vehicle. They are easy to install; you press the appropriate gear onto the output shaft (I have a press in the garage) and then solder leads onto the posts. When I tested them they worked OK so I put the cover back on and reassembled the vehicle (this takes about 30 minutes since on this toy you have to lift the seat up to get clearance for the forward bolts on the engine cover.) My son got on it and rode around for less than 3 minutes before it stopped. I then spent 30 more minutes disassembling it to find that the tops of the motors had broken away from the motor housings, and puked it's guts out, rendering the motors useless. These things are total garbage and I wouldn't waste my time with them.

Description is a bit off
I wasn't able to test the RPM of the motor, but from my research the 550 motor shouldn't really be able to do that and others explain it isn't the 40k RPM.Description explains that there is two pair of gears for the motor, but it was really 4 or 5 pairs of gears. Also, does not include 22T or 23T gear which is required for my Jeep Powerwheel. Teeth only go up to 19T on this pair of motors, which I'm sure it would be enough for some.Other than that, I was able to test that it worked and felt like it had good torque compared to the old motor.

Definitely worth it
I replaced my son’s stock motors on his 12v 4wheeler that are 12000rpm with these 40000rpm motors. These motors combined with a 24v battery the output was night and day. So my 4yr and I do a test so I jumped on my golf cart and the gps speed for his 4 wheeler was 9-10 mph vs stock 4.5. I definitely recommend these and also doing the 24v conversion it’s definitely worth it.

Good luck removing the 10T gear (pre-installed)
These work. I'm not sure if they are 40k with the 23T gear I installed. But they seem to work as advertised. I use them in a power wheels Corvette Stingray as well as a Ninja Turtles Jeep on 18v Makita battery and they definitely run well. They come with a 10T gear installed so be prepared to remove that unless you need a 10T. The gear is pressed on and not easily removed unless you have a gear puller (awesome options on Amazon) otherwise the motor by itself seems to work well so far.
