For a wireless lavalier microphone that's over 2 years old that still punches far above its own weight in 2025 clearly states that the Lark Max is still a winner in it own rights Just tested the Max against the new Max 2 and in all honestly there isn't that much difference when it comes to its audio quality So if you really want to save a few ££$$ or are on tight budget these will still do an amazing job and will give you superior sound reproduction quality to your videos. Despite the Max microphones being a tad larger to what the max 2 presents, the Max is still very lightweight and in my honest opinion Sound better than any Røde microphones. I've given 4 stars simply as the price I feel is still marginally quite high especially for them being a 2+ years old design product ... HOWEVER the superior reproduction sound quality that these do provide still make these a worthwhile product to buy

Edit: 8/5/2024 I have been using this microphone system now for just about a year and man, it's still blowing my expectations. I finally upgraded from my Purple Panda lav mic to a Shure MVL and man! What an upgrade that was. I went from +5 gain to -5 gain between the two mics on the Hollyland RX1 and am still picking up way more audio than I was before. The mids/highs are much clearer and the lows aren't muddy anymore. The battery life is still going long and strong, I haven't had any failed recordings, or issues with connectivity between the 1TX and 1RX Great stuff Hollyland! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am a realtor videographer and I am currently filming with an iPhone 13 Pro with plans to upgrade to a Sony FX30 and this single mic set seems to be the perfect buy. It is a massive upgrade from a simple iPhone wireless microphone when jumping up to the Hollyland Lark Max wireless ones. Impressive audio from such a simple yet quality device. I have dropped it so it can withstand some impacts, can't be mad at that. The other set I have is cheaply made and all plastic. Pros: -Has a super crisp internal microphone. Sounds a ton fuller than that cheap set I bought. -Microphone input works well with my Purple Panda lapel mic. -Has active noise cancelation to deter busy rooms and it works quite well. -Clear screen on the receiver, tells you everything you need to know such as battery life on both the receiver and transmitter, not to mention audio level. -Comes with loads of accessories for connecting to different devices such as Android or iPhones, cameras, and USB-C to USB-C charging/data cables. -Each clip on the transmitter and receiver are magnetic for ease of mounting on clothing -It comes with a nice wind muff, although I think it "muffles" the sound a little bit ;) -The headphone output is clean and clear and it was able to easily drive my Sennheiser HD280Pros (not a super hard demand but it was able to reach a respectable loudness) Cons: -No charging case with the 1TX+1RX (Still comes with a carrying case!) -A bit bulkier than the other setup I had but I am willing to sacrifice that for the upgrade in audio fidelity! -Harder to balance on my gimble with my current setup, but with the new setup I think it'll be easy-peasy! Overall review: If you're looking for a fantastic Wireless battery operated lavalier microphone system you've come to the right place! I've done my research versus the DJI version and this one just has an overall larger sound stage to me. None-the-less you can't go wrong with either but this one is sleeker in my eyes!

A very good mic.Small but filled with useful tools.The setup ,the touchscreen e.t.c.. all just ice on the cake.I use it for events,weddings,as an MC.

Eu usava o microfone no Iphone 13 e usava o cabo Lightning para USBC e funcionava normalmente. Porém passei a usar o iPhone 15 que usa o cabo USBC para USBC , e aí dor de cabeça começou: o receptor usa a bateria do iPhone para se carregar enquanto desempenha a sua função. Isso é PÉSSIMO! Notei um consumo de bateria significativo no iPhone, já que o receptor se mantém carregando durante todo o tempo que estiver conectado no iPhone. Fiz outros testes em outros aparelhos (Android e Mac) e acontece a mesma coisa. Entrei em contato com o suporte da Hollyland, pediram desculpas pelo inconveniente, mas explicaram que é assim mesmo, isso acontece porque o cabo de carregamento do receptor também é USBC por isso ele continua carregando quando está conectado no iPhone através do cabo USBC. Uma verdadeira decepção um equipamento caro, que em tese tem autonomia de bateria, simplesmente acontecer isso.
