Can you use this for baking/ cooking?

I use this for everything, but baking is like chemistry so sometimes I use Xylitol in conjunction with sugar and stevia to get the right amount of 'sweet' with the right amount of reaction if needed...but with yeast, even a lot of those recipes that I make have no sugar at all...like pizza dough.  You can certainly get the right leavening minus the sugar.  If something calls for A LOT of sugar, like a brownie, I do not use all xylitol.   For one, that's expensive and two...it may mess with your stomach.  If 1 cup of sugar is called for, I might add 1/2 cup xylitol, several drops of Sweet Leaf vanilla stevia drops, taste the batter...and add enough sugar to 'hit the spot'...maybe a couple of Tablespoons.

Is this product organic?

It does not have the organic label stamp on it, but it is non gmo. It is made from Birch in the USA, it contains no corn and not from China. It is a no sugar natural subsitute, but I use it to make my mouthwash. It helps your teeth and gums.

Is this product made in China?

It is not clear to me.  The description from the HealthGardenusa website is strangely written, like it was translated from another language.  It says it 'contains' no corn but it does not say it is not 'derived' from corn... it also says they search the globe for the sweetest xylitol sources (plural).. why not say the sweetest birch xylitol and make it clear what the product is?) "...Health Garden travels the globe to find the sweetest, purest Xylitol plant sources to ensure balanced taste and texture in every sweet spoonful.This calorie-free, low-glycemic blend is a perfect sugar substitute for everyone, including diabetics and allergy sufferers. Health Garden Xylitol contains no corn and is not  from China." They search the globe and avoid China. Sure. I believe it is a technicality.  They buy the product from Country XYZ, who bought it from China. Ta-Da! "We bought it from another country, not China. See?" (They do this with meat, all kinds of products.) Really it is not hard to assemble an impure product in good ole' USA if it is your intent to deceive the customer.
