Even if you read or watch the popular guys like Ripetoe this is worth reading.
Very practical advice with unique view. I believe being 74 years old gives a slightly different but very enjoyable angle to trying and getting strong.

Really good book
I’ve been working out in gyms for over 5 years and never realized the importance of squat and increasing lower extremity strength until I read this book. Very useful for beginners in squat.

Outstanding Squat Manuel for Novice-early Intermediate Powerlifters (anyone can learn for it though)
This is an awesome book on the squat. Really detailed and not a lot of fluff. I read it the first day I bought it and will reference it in the future. Other books have said a lot of the same thing but in really confusing ways. This gentleman is to the point.

Excellent information and techniques
Only halfway through, but I'm loving every word. Mr. Schuller comes from the perfect background to be writing this book, and makes that clear on every page with his insights.

Wanna blown disc? Do what this guy says.
The technique in this book is bogus. Read anything by Mark Rippetoe and and you will see that this is in direct conflict to what he says especially on the squat form. I stopped injuring myself when I stopped listening to this bogus-school idea of how you’re supposed to squat. I can’t believe I ever listen to this in the first place seeing how it goes against body mechanics in an obvious way. Read starting strength by Mark riptoe instead and you won’t blow your damn discs

Lots of useful details, clear and to the point
This book is a gem!Lots of useful details, clear and to the point.Great workout programs.Really, probably the most practical guide on squats written out there.I have read many books on squats and the majority either gloss over the techniques, even thought is always stated that the squat is the "King of exercises"; or get lost into many anatomical details.

Excellent and straightforward
One of the simplest yet well written books on how to practically develop a big squat. This will take you beyond your 405 squat comfortably if you follow it exactly as written.
