Even though my new seat seemed comfortable enough, I elected to add a second level of protection/comfort. The cover ties on and maintains position even during off-road riding. The cushion is remarkable in providing shock absorbing yet not yielding too readily to random pounding.

This is a great seat. So comfortable and does not slide around on seat. I have used it on both narrow and wide seats and it seems to stay on both.

I purchased this bike seat as a gift for my sister. She just purchased a new bike and could not use the seat cover from her old bike. Before giving it to her, I tried it on my bike. It fits perfectly over the seat and it has long ties to make tying it a breeze. You can cut them and burn the ends to prevent raveling when you have the perfect fit. It also has a sliding clip on the strings to adjust it for an extra perfect fit. The memory foam cushion is soft and very comfortable. It has a non-slip fabric on the underside so that the cover does not slip on the seat. The non-slip fabric does not eliminate all movement but it is minimized. It does not slip while riding the bike only if you bump it as you sit on the seat prior to riding.Overall, I think she will be very pleased with her new seat cover and she will ride comfortably as she hits the bike trails.All of my product reviews are based on my own or my families’ personal experiences and are honest and fair. Finally! Ok, first off, my wide saddle seat with springs is actually one of the most comfortable seats I've ever had. I can ride for hours and not feel any discomfort.My wife has a slimmer seat but she has a memory foam gel cover and loves it. I tried riding her bike and was totally impressed with the cushy feel! Since then, I've been on the search for one that will fit my bike.First one I purchased had an opening that was too small so I couldn't even fit over my wide seat.Second one was a gel type and did fit on my seat but just was not comfortable after 30-40 minutes of riding.This one... PERFECT! Fit well over the seat and secured well. Just like most covers, this has a rubber dot lining so you won't be slipping while riding. The most impressive part was the memory foam and gel combo. Not too soft and not too hard. Just right with the perfect amount of squishy!If you have a wide seat like mine (mine is 8"x10" and almost 4" height, this will serve your purpose well. Definitely recommend.

I enjoy riding my bike but my back side gets mighty sore from sitting on the bike seat. I have padded bike shorts but in the summer they get hot and it limits me to what I can wear. This gel seat cover fits and has helped ease the pain of riding my bike. The gel part is about ¾ inches thick, soft and bounces back after sitting on it.
