Update: Replacement works just fine - no longer overheats
Update: PowEver reached out and offered to send a replacement to test. I am happy to report that I have been able to run it for a couple hours at a time with no overheating problems doing 4k/24 or 30 as well as 1080p/120.--This adapter appears to work but it overheats my camera every time after recording about 10-15 minutes of 4K video. Basically making it worthless.

Works as Advertized.
Use it all day on my A9ii as a webcam and have had no issues at all.

Works on my Sony a7 III
Plugged it into my Sony a7 III and it worked! On the Sony a7 III camera battery door, there is a little mini door that has room for the cable in the dummy battery to fit through. And you can then close the battery door. The camera displayed it as 100% battery.

Perfectly reliable
Does the job perfectly. This plus the a7c = unlimited record time at events.

Cheap material but works
Works as supposed to but very cheap quality. Plastic it's thin and cracks easily on accidental drop...

Unless you want to mess up your camera and get practically scammed, find another one
one they did not send me an edison plug, they sent me an European one? what...luckily my family had a converter....and two after using I was afraid my camera was going to get messed up, I swapped it with a real battery and it started spazzing on me for a second, I was afraid my 2,000 dollar camera was going to get messed up... don't do it..
