Molly's Suds Laundry Powder is causing sudsing in the washer on clothes. Is this normal? Yes. While the Laundry Powder does not have any chemicals that cause sudsing, it does get into the fibers and release build up from previous detergents and fabric softeners. It’s amazing how many toxins are stored in clothing fibers. As the build up is released, you will notice sudsing from the previous products used. It will stop after a few washes. You may also notice certain odors come out of the clothing. This is because of the synthetic musk companies use to mask odor, even fragrance free versions of detergents. It will also be released with the Molly’s Suds. 1/4- 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar in your fabric softener dispenser will help to release the build up and reduce static. 2. How much laundry powder should be used if the scoop is lost? The scoop is 1 Tablespoon and it’s blue. It gets pushed down to the bottom of the Laundry Powder bag during transit sometimes. Use 1 kitchen tablespoon per load until you can recover your scoop. 3. Can Molly's Suds be used in very hard water? It was formulated to work great in hard water. The magic chemistry with very hard water is HOT water, 2 scoops of Powder and 1/4 cup distilled white vinegar. The vinegar works as a mild acid and helps to dissolve the minerals in hard water. 4. Is Molly's Suds safe on sensitive skin? Yes! Many of their customers have sensitive skin or eczema and that is why they use all Molly's Suds' products. There are no harsh or leaching chemicals and it is clean rinsing. It does not have fragrance or dyes. 5. Can the laundry powder be used in an HE machine? Yes! It does best when you add it to the tub first and then toss in your laundry. In the very cold months you should wash in warm water. Soil is not released in water below 70 degrees Fahrenheit. 6. Is the laundry powder safe for cloth diapers? Yes! It’s been used by thousands of moms and dads that cloth diaper their children. It’s a great family Laundry Powder because it can be used on everything! 7. What is a good way to get rid of stains naturally? Use tepid water and run it through the back of the stain. Add 1 drop of natural dish soap and rub it gently into the stain. Rinse and repeat. Make a paste of Molly’s Suds Laundry Powder with a few drops of water and rub it with friction into the stain, rinse under running water. The stain should be gone! Laundry Tips Always sort your laundry into colors, whites and lights. This helps whites stay white, while brights and lights retain their color. 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar in the main wash cycle helps “set” colors that bleed. Use warm water for most laundry, but always check the care label and wash accordingly. Cold water in the winter months can drop below the recommended 70° for effective cleaning and does not allow for great stain removal or germ killing power. Hot water is recommended for whites, linens, cloth diapers, clothing that has been exposed to flu virus, stomach virus/bacterias, etc. The
