Don't make a mistake of purchasing this item , it's of no use I just made rice once and at the very first time it got burned and a black layer formed on the inside of kettle and now I cook anything the same place gets burned out , also the low mode doesn't work I was using high mode where this happened, what will happen if I keep it to max it doesn't have the capability to handle such temp and tho it's getting burned .I won't suggest you buying this..I am regretting already also they doesn't have a option for returning the productIt's such a low quality productAlso that black thing doesn't go away easily
