Corel Paintshop Pro 2019 Ultimate - Photo with Multi-Cam Video Editing Software for PC [Amazon Exclusive] [Old Version]

After trying out about a dozen free and for purchase photo-editing programs Corel by far provided the best return for my money and time. It provides far more capabilities and a greater ease of use than the freeware programs at a very reasonable cost. Every few months the cut their prices in half.While there are a number of subscription programs charging you a monthly fee, which I may have slightly preferred, none of the them were worth paying 5 times (or even twice) as much over the next 5 years. This is a great program at a great price.They offer a free 30 day trial, like other programs, so you may want to try a few others .

To install PaintShopPro2019, you have to have the serial number. I bought mine on CD, so I thought that would be easy to find, right there on the CD label probably. But no, it's not there. It isn't on the box either. I searched these Amazon reviews and couldn't find the location of the serial number there, either. I went to the Corel website and tried to find out there but didn't find out anything there either. I struggled with this for over an hour!Anyway, just thought I'd let other buyers know that the serial number is on the PAPER sleeve in which that particular CD (of the two included) was inserted. Not the box, not the label, just printed on the cheap throwaway paper sleeve. Yes I feel like an idiot but thought this might help someone else.As for the software, I bought Paint Shop Pro v6.02 almost two decades ago back when it was sold by JASC, and I love it. I think it was a few dollars less back then, but I sure got my money's worth using it for all these years and amazingly it still worked in Windows 10. I think it is great software and to me it seems so user friendly (maybe because I am so used to it by now). Personally I refuse to buy subscription software so when I saw that a later version of Paint Shop Pro can still be bought without a subscription, I thought I'd update my software.I gave it three stars instead of five because AFAIK there were no directions either in the box or on the Corel website, telling me exactly where the serial number was.

I've been using PaintShop Pro X8 for quite a while and love the program. I basically ordered PaintShop Pro Ultimate 2019 to upgrade to the newer version, perhaps have a few new editing options, etc. and didn't want to spend the extra money on the new 2020 version which I figured couldn't be much different.From what I can see so far, Photoshop 2019 itself is a wonderful photo editing program and has a much cleaner look than the previous editions. It was easy to install -- once I located the installation file! I ordered the disc version and there is absolutely no information included in the box other than the website on which to find the user manual, which wasn't a big help in the installation process at all. The disc did not automatically install. I had to open up my file directory, find the disc drive, change the file info to show all files and extensions, and pick a couple files before finding the install file.Two things I'm not happy with so far:1) I decided to go ahead and purchase the program because I was interested in the Pic-to-Painting plugin. I have yet to get it to work, even though I've checked out various forums and followed all the directions that other people have tried because the plugin hasn't worked for them either. After I choose my file and the type of "painting" I want, the plugin does nothing but show a little spinning wheel which never stops. It runs ad infinitum. So I've been totally disappointed with this. If anyone out there knows of a patch or fix I'd be interested in finding one. If I'd known this plugin wouldn't work I'd never have purchased the program.2) I figured out how to stop the pop-up ads. Unfortunately there's an ad on the main screen when the program starts which apparently can't be removed. Not good!Bottom line, I'll probably continue using the older version X8, which I've always like and am comfortable using, along with the Perfect Effects program that came with it, and try to make some sense of the 2019 program.

If you own a PC and wish to have a very good photo editing program, this is it. I ordered the DVD rather than download the program. Once loaded, it is a very intuitive program and easy to navigate. I feel it is equal or a bit better than Adobe Photoshop, but considering Photoshop is a $119 every year subscription, Paintshop Pro does everything, even RAW image data for one payment of $49. I would only recommend 8gb of RAM to run it. The program has more than all the bells and whistles one would want in a digital photo-ediiting program.

I had their 2015 version on my Windows 10 computer, but it decided to periodically stop working (needing to be re-installed repeatedly). So I got mad, and checked Amazon for a newer version. This 2019 version was on SALE "Used." That was the deciding factor for me. Corel is an expensive company, BUT GREAT products! This one said "Used" which for programs, usually means "no box or book, just the disc." No box or book came, just the disc and it works perfectly, and so did the codes to install all of it! So if you find this program "Used" here on Amazon, get one! It's an amazing deal for a great program!

Will not install on my computer. Corel does not offer any real support. They give such advice as "read the tutorial." Each time I try to install this something called Mirage appears on my dash board--it seems to be an ad. Paintshop Pro 2019 Ultimate doesn't get beyond that. I was really expecting to be able to edit my photos in this program Shame on you Amazon for selling such a defective product & making it impossible to return for a refund. I had asked to see Photo Shop but Amazon took me to this site--WHY? This program would be nice if it was as advertised but when you can't even install it and can get no help from Corel what can you do?
