House 1&2 double feature two 80's horror comedy classics on one double sided disc. 👍👍10/10

HOUSE- A man is haunted by the ghosts of his past from his Vietnam War days,literally. In a time when slasher films reigned supreme in the genre, House tells a story of haunting and revenge, using some great puppets and pretty cool costumes. It doesn't take itself too seriously, but it's a classic for a reason. House II- Bill Maher plays an L.A. sleaze ball, so...basically he plays himself. But seriously, he plays a really small part in this movie. Horror also plays a very small part in this movie. House II tries to be a little bit family friendly "horror", a little bit Indiana Jones inspired comedy, and fails at both. Another sequel that never should've been made. Rated 4 stars only because of the original film.

OKAY THE ORIGINAL HOUSE WAS RELEASED IN 1985 AND STARRED WILLIAM KATT. IT WAS A HORROR COMEDY ABOUT A FORMER VIETNAM VET WHO MOVES INTO HIS DEAD AUNTS HOUSE AFTER SHE HANGS HERSELF AND IS HAUNTED BY THE GHOST OF HIS FORMER VIETNAM BUDDY WHO KIDNAPPS HIS SON FOR REVENGE.NOW HOUSE 2 IS A HORROR COMEDY ABOUT A MAN NAMED JESSIE WHO MOVES TO HIS FAMILYS MANSION AND WITNESSES SOME STRANGE GOINGS ON. ITS BASICLY ABOUT THIS GLASS SKULL WHICH IS SUPPOSE TO BE MAGIC. JESSIE DIGS UP HIS DEAD GRANDFATHER WHOSE NAME IS ALSO JESSIE FROM THE OLD WEST BECASUE HE FINDS OUT THAT THE SKULL WAS BURRIED WITH HIM WHEN HE DIED. JESSIE SPENDS MOST OF THE FILM TRYING TO PROTECT THE SKULL FROM GETTING STOLEN BY JESSIES EX PARTNER SLIM RAZOR WHO ALSO HAPPENS TO BE A DEAD ZOMBIE.WITH SOME VERY FUNNY MOMENTS YOU WILL MOST LIKELY LAUGH THROUGH MOST OF THIS FILM. AS I SAID THIS IS A HORROR COMEDY.

You get 2 movies part 1 & 2 great deal at a great price this is a great movie if you haven't seen it i suguest you watch this movie you won't regreat it ! "It's the House" !!!

I gave this to my mom as a gift because she was always talking about House 2 and worm doggie. We used to watch these movies all the time and she can now watch them again. She loves this set!

House es una extraña película de horror en cuanto a que combina los sustos con el drama y la comedia. Puede parecer una película algo tonta pero es muy divertida. La busqué por años en DVD pues solo la tenía en VHS y es una fortuna haber podido dar con ella y a un precio muy accesible. El sonido no es muy bueno y está muy cargado a los tonos agudos. Debo aclarar que House II no la he visto aún y no tengo ninguna referencia en cuanto a la calidad, historia, etc. Solo sé que el guión no tiene relación con la historia del primer film. Ambas películas carecen de subtítulos en Inglés o en Español y solo contiene Close Captions en Inglés. El servicio de Amazon, como de costumbre, muy bueno y puntual.

A couple of few tennants move into an old house. Before you know it they've found a crystal skull which resurrects one of their number's gunslinger ancestors, discovered doorways to pocket universes and had the place raided by muscled psycopaths and mad warriors. To think all some of us have to worry about is whether the old neighbours have taken the light bulbs with them. This is a highly enjoyable film. The monsters are interesting and well-realised and there's a sense of humour as well as aventure. Never fails to entertain.
