You will need a type of Cerium Oxide in a slurry in order to take it down to beyond the scratch. It is not easily obtained for such a small job. This rouge is more for metal but will polish the glass, only after you have knocked down the depth of the scratch only, you will have to really be cautious to avoid swirling marks if using this rouge on glass. Polishing glass is very, very difficult, and extremely labor intensive you may find it easier to replace the panel of glass. Cerium Oxide is the correct method using multiple stages of grit.
