Q: I bought these for my 91-year-old father who just loves nuts. However, as guaranteed not all the nuts were cracked! Interesting?

I guess I've been eating pistachios for years and have never seen a bag that doesn't have uncracked nuts. That being said I buy these for my boys for holidays and they are always favorites. Excellent flavor and very crunchy.

Q: What size are these? not jumbo? small? how long in inches?

About the size of a nickel. Easy to open mostly with fingers. The nut is small like a peanut. Its best to keep unused ones in a dry container.

Q: Hi. Are these treated with phosmet or any other pesticides?

Q: Is there a tool to open the nuts I can buy?

I’m sure you can find a nut pick designed to open various nuts. Typically your thumb nails will open these pistachios.
