The WMD-110H-3AV (dark Army green case and strap) is yet another example of a high quality, low budget timepiece from Casio. I have a large collection of watches with Casio taking up at least 50% of my total count of approximately 120 watches. I firmly believe that you can find a budget friendly timepiece, without breaking the bank, in both Quartz and/or Automatic Mechanical movements. This particular quartz/digital watch is very high quality and durable with great eye appeal (typical Casio in my opinion). With 100M/330ft. of water resistance, 10 year battery life, multi- functional movement, coupled with Casio’s excellent reputation, you just can’t go wrong with this one. The case diameter is 47mm and it has a longer strap for guys like me who have a wider wrist….that is much appreciated. I won’t repeat all of its functions because the description Amazon provides is more than adequate. I will say though, that it is very easy to set up and use, especially with the very detailed instruction book that Casio always provides. I always choose the “Positive” displays (over the “Negative” display”) when it comes to digital watches for overall legibility. This model has a “layered” effect, from the stainless steel bezel to the digital face, that gives it a very unique look. The digital numerals for the “time area” are large enough to see even without my glasses and the backlight is a single amber LED light at the 9:00 o’clock position. I personally find the light to be quite adequate and pleasing for nighttime use….it gets the job done. I also enjoy its octagon shape and the integrated light button at the 6:00 o’clock position. I highly recommend the Casio WMD-110H and am looking forward to purchasing another one with the black case and strap (positive display of course)!!
