However, if you're concerned about tree nut allergies, studies show that shea nut allergies are rare due to the small amount of nut proteins it contains. We hope this answer was helpful. Great question! Our Gentle Touch cream does not have an expiration date. Instead, we include a PAO (period after opening) symbol on the jar indicating that we recommend using it within 12 months after you first open and break the seal.
