Cooler Master MasterFan MF120R RGB Case Fan 'RGB LED, Silent Cooling Technology, 120mm' R4-C1DS-20PC-R1

These fans are so loud and one of them started making a croaking frog noise. I bought 10 and had to return 2 of them because they arrived defective/ too noisy.

Works like a charm. 3 of these on a Cooler Master MA621P TR4 is keeping a 4.3hz over clocked AIR COOLED 1950x under 60c (dont recommend it, weather here is usually really cold) I pair them up with 5 Cooler Master MasterFan Pro 140. Works with Asus Aura perfectly.

At first its like a pop pop pop sound as you get faster the pop sound is replaced by a whirring of the motor put it up to 2000 RPMS and its ready for takeoff..Bought this for the case exhaust and wish I hadn't. the lighting is not as good as on the 140MM or 200MM05-08-2018 PMRevised original review, to eliminate some of the noise I plugged the fan into a fan connection without the PWM pin as a result the pop pop noise at low RPM was eliminated as is the ability to control with PWM at 500-800 RPMS this fan is no louder than the others but does emit a low pitched annoying hum that sounds like the case is vibrating and I cannot find a way to stop it anti vibration screws etc nothing worked. I cannot imaging anyone wanting to have a case full of these.

I decided upon getting this to replace my case's stock exhaust fan, while giving my case a touch of lighting.The RGB on this fan is sufficiently bright that it can be seen in higher light levels, such as when taking a photo with camera flash. It also looks pleasing in lower light conditions too.The maximum noise output is reached fairly quickly on this fan, where it is likely to reach (or close to) its maximum noise output at a lower rpm. There's not much difference in noise between running it at 50% and 100%. It does however remain quiet at lower speeds.

This fan is a very basic option with some LED customisation. The lights have a very washed-out look and are not very bright. There is no way to set the fan to Blue or even close to Blue, when choosing the blue option you get purple, and when you choose purple you get purple. MEH!!!Anyway if you looking for a budget fan and your expectations are not very high then this is the fan for you..

much better than my corsair pro fan but they are noisy if I want them to push a lot of air and really quiet if I want them to be they can be controlled for the speed via the motherboards own software if it supports it works great in my pc build

Thus fan runs pretty much whisper quiet. Seems to move around plenty of air. The led colours are a bit washed out. I bought some solid blue coloured ones at the fraction of a price and they look better. It does the job nevertheless.
