I have to admit that this product exceeded my expectations. When I first considered purchasing it, I was hesitant because it was not specifically designed for my vehicle's factory system. I had concerns about compatibility, connectivity, and whether it would look out of place in my car. After using it, however, I can confidently say it has been one of the best automotive upgrades I've made and is absolutely worth the investment. I drive a 2017 vehicle equipped with a 360-degree camera system. After researching CarPlay upgrades in the past, I repeatedly came across information suggesting that adding CarPlay would either require disabling my factory cameras or paying for a costly custom installation. As a result, I had resigned myself to living without CarPlay. While I love virtually everything else about my vehicle, the lack of modern smartphone integration was a constant frustration, especially when using navigation, messaging, and music apps. After driving several rental cars equipped with Apple CarPlay, I quickly realized how much I had been missing. Determined to find a solution, I began researching again and was pleasantly surprised to discover portable CarPlay displays. These products either didn't exist or weren't widely available when I originally explored my options a few years ago. When Black Friday arrived, I finally decided to take the plunge. I initially considered several 7-inch models, but they seemed a bit undersized for my midsize vehicle. This display turned out to be the perfect fit, offering a screen large enough to be easily visible without overwhelming the dashboard. Installation was remarkably straightforward. The entire setup process took approximately 15 minutes, with most of that time spent deciding on the ideal mounting location. Pairing the display with my phone took only a few minutes, and now it automatically connects within seconds every time I start the car. Finding the right placement was the most challenging part, but once installed, it looked surprisingly integrated. I was able to position it so it doesn't obstruct the air vents or my view of the road, and it resembles a factory-installed pop-up display. With a little effort, I also managed to conceal most of the wiring, resulting in a clean and professional appearance. The device's built-in speaker is perfectly adequate, but I quickly discovered an even better setup. I can remain connected to the CarPlay display while simultaneously using my vehicle's Bluetooth system for audio output. This allows all sound to play through my car's speakers while I control everything through the touchscreen interface. I initially tested the AUX connection, which worked reasonably well, but the Bluetooth configuration has proven to be far more convenient and seamless. Performance has been outstanding. The interface responds quickly, wireless connectivity has been reliable, and I have experienced absolutely no noticeable lag. The screen operates smoothly and consistently, making daily driving much more enjoyable. Overall, this has been a fantastic upgrade that completely solves the one feature my vehicle was missing. The combination of easy installation, excellent performance, ideal screen size, and affordable price makes it an exceptional value. If you're driving an older vehicle and want the convenience of CarPlay without replacing your factory system, this portable display is an excellent solution. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, and it has genuinely transformed my driving experience.

This device is great! I have owned this for a little over 30 days and wanted to wait to do a longer review on it to make sure I didn't run into any long-term issues. There was one small issue I had in the first few days which I was able to get resolved (more on that below). Other than that, this Smart Screen has worked flawlessly every day! I own another similar device that I installed in another vehicle which was twice the cost of this one (it included a backup camera and some other helpful features which this one doesn't have). However, this Smart Screen is half the cost of that one and probably has about 90% of the features I use every day. So, I would highly recommend this one especially if you don't need a backup camera or other features. On the note of the backup camera, there is a plug on the device to connect a backup camera. So, you might be able to buy one that is compatible with this Smart Screen. However, if you want to do that, I would recommend that you reach out to the company directly to make sure the backup camera is compatible. I didn't try to find one with this device since I don't need one. However, I have owned other Smart Screens in the past and in my experience they aren't always compatible with 3rd party backup cameras that are available on Amazon. So, double check compatibility with the company directly if you are trying to do that. Overall, if you are looking for a device that will work great with Android Auto or Apply Car Play and don't need other features, this is a great one to use! I really like the size of the screen. It looks great in my car and makes my drive a lot more enjoyable. It connects very quickly and wirelessly to my phone. The audio sounds great over my Aux cable (my vehicle doesn't have bluetooth and so I use the Aux cable). I recommend getting right angle cables for both the usb-c power supply and the Aux cable (if you use one) since it looks a lot nicer in my opinion. I think I picked up some on Temu for less than $2 each. But you can get those here on Amazon or other places. The Aux cable I bought made the audio sound a lot better than the Aux cable that was included. So, that's something to know to. The smart screen is compatible with both Android and iPhone. I also like that I can take it with me if I buy a new car or if I travel and need to rent a car. Its very portable. And about that issue I had, the issue I was running into is that my Android phone would constantly disconnect and then reconnect every few minutes. I reached out to the company and they helped me resolve it quickly. It was a super easy fix and I haven't had any issues since we resolved the issue. If anyone else runs into that same issue, here are the steps to fix the problem that I got from the company which worked for me. (1) On your phone, go to the Google Play store and download and install the EveLink App (by CamTree) (2) On your Car Smart Screen: Access the SuperLink App (Android mode) (3) On Your phone: Open the EveLink App and connect to the Smart Screen. (4) Wait for the App to display the message "Android 16 Auto Connect issue Fixed" (5) Done. (6) To check it, switch back to Android Auto mode on your Car Smart Screen and connect to your Android phone. Make sure Android Auto no longer disconnects.

For those of you who already have a backup camera, no navigation, and would like to upgrade the capability to connect your phone by either Android Autoplay or Apple CarPlay (is compatible with both) wirelessly with a brilliant 9-inch screen, then look no further. Not only this, but the price is extremely good at $69.00 US. The instructions that come with the unit are remarkably simple to understand and to set up. If you are already tech savvy, you will have no issues installing this unit in about 5 minutes. Non tech savvy, about 20-30 minutes. In the attached pictures. 1) Everything that comes in the Box; Unit, power plug, 2 methods of attaching the unit (window mount or dash mount) with adhesive pad, aux cable to plug into your existing car stereo, along with tool to press cable into dash crevice to hide it. 2) and 3) Side shots of the unit, Right side is On/Off, Left side is Power cord and Aux inputs. Disregard the AV Input and Mini memory card, as they are not used on this unit. 4) Initial setup screen 5) Setup screen for setting your phone up, audio output and Bluetooth music (if you select blue tooth music for another device you will have to disconnect CarPlay /Android Auto 6) Bluetooth setup screen, set your phone to scan with power applied to the unit and will connect within 2 minutes 7) Audio Select screen; 4 choices Unit speaker, BT Audio, FM channel, or Aux line in 8) A portion of the general setup for your selection choices more messages, Startup, 9) How your screen will look like mirroring your phone, and 10 )Split screen showing your mapping navigation and your music source. The screen has a very clear display in which you can set the brightness. Being touchscreen, you can touch the microphone icon and ask for directions for your Waze or Google Maps application and get them in an instance. I would recommend using the aux cable if you have an input, but that is from personal experience. The Bluetooth connection is also good. I have another unit in my 2012 Jeep where I needed camera. Also, as this is not a permanent install, you can move the unit between vehicles, keeping your settings without having to change them. Between the two, this model's screen has impressed me more. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade to a better screen allowing phone connectivity.

I was pleasantly surprised by this 9-inch Smart Screen CarPlay (Model RC07). The screen is bright and responsive, and the setup was quick and easy. Apple CarPlay connected without any issues, making it simple to use navigation, music, and hands-free calling while driving. The display is a great size, sound quality is nice and loud and everything is easy to see and operate. For the price, this unit offers excellent value and performs just as I hoped. If you're looking to add CarPlay to a vehicle without replacing the factory stereo, I would definitely recommend this product.

I'm very happy with this CarPlay Screen. I have no problem with it connecting to my phone and it has a very clear high resolution 9" screen. It's very useful and easy to navigate through it's functions. My car did not already have an infotainment system and this is really useful. The screen arrived in perfect condition. The packaging kept it safe on it's journey to me. Everything you need to get it set up in your car is included in the package. There are a couple of different mounts included. One is the adjustable arm with a suction cup mount and the other is a stick on dash mount. I am using the suction cup mount and it seems to hold very well. The dash mount seems like it will be a very solid mount also. There are a lot of functions on the screen. It connects to my iphone without any issues. I mainly use it for music and for navigation purposes but it can be used for entertainment for the passengers in the car. Phone screens can be mirrored on the screen and movies could be watched on the screen. The audio output can be through either the built in speaker, through your FM radio on an unused channel, through a bluetooth connection to your radio or through an auxillary port. The touchscreen works great. I have no problem navigating through the screens. My phone works great through the screen and using navigation apps like google maps or apple maps is very easy and the large screen makes it comfortable to see where you need to go. This is a very nice upgrade for an older car that does not already have an infotainment center. It works great and it is easy to use.

Good quality screen, its responsive and a good size for my midsize car, mounted on a 3rd party cd player mount, i'm very pleased with the quality and avoided pulling my comand unit stereo and compromising sound quality, this carplay unit and my aux input saved me hours of work and hundreds of dollars to replace the whole stereo properly, while maintaining the canbus powered surround sound HK speaker system. I wish it had a sensor for brightness, but it only has a timer. So at night, I have to dim it manually. And the power adapter reminds me of a 90's portable TV, but luckily it also runs off of any usb c cable, so I 86'd the adapter that came with it. The included brackets look good, I just didn't need surface-mount stuff. But will keep them around, pretty universal. It was simple to pair with my iPhone and has maintained ease of use. You can rename it as a device instead of "AAA6373673"; it can be "Benz Carplay", etc. I would buy another for other vehicles as needed.

It works and pairs ok. I had to send back the first one I received as it would always disconnect from bluetooth and re-pair every few minutes. The replacement I got seems to work ok. So QC may be suspect. YMMV There's no volume for the radio broadcast option. It's also not the most intuitive UI. Display works well enough. This kind of display is good for those looking for a tablet style display for their older vehicle that has AUX. The radio broadcast is pretty weak and scratchy regardless of which frequency you're trying to use.

I was looking for a car play screen for my vehicle. I did not opt for the upgrade for the vehicle to automatically come with it given the additional cost purchasing. Purchasing the car play screen separately just made more sense. After doing a fair amount of shopping around I came across this screen and I could not be happier! The screen does everything I need and more! I love how easy it is to set up. It's just a matter of connecting your phone to the screen and you are up and rolling. The options on the screen are more than you will need when driving your car. It has the CarPlay, Android Auto, airplay, connections for Bluetooth music and much more! You can choose the audio output whether through the screen itself or your vehicle. There are multiple settings for setup, from dimming the light, to volume, to which side you want your content on when looking at the screen. As far as attaching the car play screen to your vehicle the kit comes with several different options. You can do the adhesive attachment along with the suction cup, and the adjustments on the devices make it simple enough to place exactly where you want. As far as the cost for what you get you honestly can't beat it. It's great for yourself or even a gift. It's even portable should you want to take it inside with you and it has the same functionality. So you can watch YouTube, listen to music or even make phone calls. Additionally it has voice controls which make it very easy to navigate while driving and it supports both Siri and Google Assistant. The touch screen is easy to navigate as well. Overall you really cannot beat the price for what you are getting. Again, I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a car play screen. It does everything you need and more and takes about 5 minutes at most to set up and you just can't beat that.
