Very comfortable
Very comfortable as this model is a bit wider and longer than standard. I'm 6'2" and well happy. Yes it's a bit heavy but I carry it on a motorcycle so not an issue but wouldn't want to have to carry it all day in addition to any other camping equipment. So, not a bit of kit for trekking (unless, of course, a couple of you share the load) but great if you're transporting it by car, bike, scooter etc. Strong and comfortable. Easy to assemble once you've had a little practice to find the technique that works best for you. It was recommended to me and I recommend it to all of you.

heavy but bullet proof...
This is an updated version of the old military classic. I went for the wider 77cm option and there is plenty of room. It won't let you down and you can probably keep hold of one for life. However, not good if you have to carry it, as it is a little heavy. You will see lots of bad reviews of similar products because some people can't put them together! It is a little fiddly first time but after that easy - it is technique rather than strength. For example, to put the structural sides into the material, you just have to put in one of the legs to use for better grip/leverage to get the material over the end. Likewise popping the free end of the leg in the hole is easy if you put the fixed end on the floor and use your body weight on the loose end to flex it into position. This is a simple and very durable product and a good value option against some of the flimsier and more expensive options out there. The only real down side is weight, but fine if you don't have to carry it.2 years in and I have 4 - use them for spare beds at home for visitors or throw some in the back of the car to go camping. Comfortable, durable and simple to put up.

GREAT PRODUCT
Really pleased with this - easy to assemble as well as being nice and wide too. It comes in a handy carry bag and Im now ready to go camping! This was the second product of this type that I had bought through Amazon and wish I had found this one first! I previously ignored the Amazon feedback for the Yellowstone 4 leg camp bed (which was much the same price as this one too) and had to send it back as soon as I had received it, as it was faulty (the legs would not fit in the holes to make it stand up/work) and it was also very mean on the width.

"Glamp Bed"! Wide enough, but "hammock effect"...
When this design first appeared, with the "self-springing" "w" shaped legs, I bought one like a shot, because: how more minimal (? you know what I mean...) could a camp bed get? Hence, how more light-weight? None, I figured. And also, I like design classics..However... That one, and all that I'd seen since, are plain too narrow. (For me: 48" chest, 5'11") You spend all night pressed against the cold steel rails left and right: uncomfortable, losing heat, and aware that turning over is a real mechanical challenge. That previous one also had only 3 legs, and a flimsy cotton "base", so every time I got in or out, it would flip, and threaten to tear and land me on the floor. The painted, roughly welded steel is also a bit shabby.I just got this Kampa Slumber plus, and spent an hour this evening "testing" it. At 77 cm wide, lying on my back, my elbows do just touch the rails, but they're just resting lightly, not an issue.. On my side, no contact at all, I feel like I'm in a double bed... (Particularly in a Gelert XL sleep pod..). The base is a good solid nylon, and, supported by 4 legs, is very stable, and supportive: no worries climbing in or out. Long enough for me, and probably for another 2 inches, maybe even 3.. The build quality seems the best: ovoid steel rails, slotting together around aluminium billets, and the legs lock the rails together..Obviously, it's not as light/small to carry as an air bed, but, it won't get a leak and be junk, and is marginally easier to set up. Also, so far, it seems not to have the "sweaty surface" effect of an air bed...After some use.. I realise that it has a "hammock effect": it dips more where the weight is, and that is enough to cause lower back stiffness. SO, I downgraded it to 3 stars..

Good budget camp bed.
Good product, nice and wide, easy to put together only takes a few minutes. The material does sag a little in the middle for me but I'm towards the top end of the weight limit, this doesn't affect the comfort of it and I've only used three times but haven't woke up with a bad back as some of the reviews say.

Terrific
Just got back from a 3-night music festival - and slept soundly each night. It took me 4 minutes to set up from closed bag to ready to lie on. I have no sympathy with those people who moan about how difficult it is...because it can't be simpler to assemble. Get the wider version because it is more comfortable and stronger. Excellent value for money and packs up into an easy tight bundle. Best bit of camping kit I have bought for years, and it will last for years. I have zero complaints about it.

Badly built, difficult to put togeather a complete waste of money
The description said it was easy to put up - The poles didn't fit into the canvas they were too long, so you couldn't get the proper tension you needed to use the bed, the holes for the feet didn't line up with the holes in the canvas, this was made even worse because the pole didn't fit into the canvas in the first place, so you had to struggle to get the feet to fit.All in all, badly designed and built and a complete waste of time and money,

Easy to erect - not!
I bought this because I wanted a spare bed for when my grandchildren visit and it said it was easy to erect. There was no instructions and I struggled with it for over half an hour and still didn't manage to erect it. You need a lot of strength to be able to fit the legs. I tried so hard I ended up hurting my back. I had to wait till a male friend arrived to get it put up.
